Well, I just got an official looking pair of letters from Filefront.com telling me that my shit violated copyrights, and it mentions a bunch of legal stuff about arrests and violation and some DMCA anti-copyright infringement act. Long story short, I might be getting arrested. If you don't see me for a couple of months, uh, I'll be in jail.

I got the new Less Than Jake CD last week, "In with the Out Crowd." Actually, I got the special edition with live MP3's, remixes, and acoustic tracks, but I'm just here to talk about the new CD. For those of you unfamiliar with Less Than Jake, technically, they're a ska band. They have a track on the Digimon: The Movie Soundtrack, "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" (an awesome song). For their new CD, they're more punk than ska, which I feel is an improvement, but the Amazon ratings show disagreement. Here's a breakdown:

"Soundtrack of My Life": 10/10, This is a great song with lyrics I can relate to.
"A Still Life Franchise": 10/10, Most likely about how cigarette smoking will lead to an early grave. It sounds really good.
"Overrated (Everything Is)" 10+/10, A true punk song! Lyrically, the best song on the album. "Having sex is overrated, so is always getting wasted [...] classic rock is so outdated."
"Fall Apart" 7.5/10, Great intro, and good verses, but the chorus is weak. This song falls apart.
"In-Dependence Day" 8/10, It's a good song, but it's not very catchy.
"Landmines and Landslides" 8/10, Another solid song.
"The Rest of My Life" 10/10, Similar in theme to Track 2, but with very different music. "It's gonna kill me the rest of my life." The music sounds kind of like a sad carnival ride.
"Mostly Memories" 9/10, A very catchy song. This is what Less Than Jake does best.
"Let Her Go" 7/10, The low point on the album is still pretty catchy, just lyrically sub-par.
"Hopeless Case" 7/10, Good lyrics, but musically lazy.
"P.S. Shock the World" 10+/10, Thirty seconds into this song, I found myself turning up my stereo. The horns are amazing on this one. Musically, the best track, and lyrics that mean a lot to a fellow writer.


So far, this is the best commercial rock album of the year. I think Good Riddance's new album (coming soon) will be the best album of the year (in my opinion), but that's not a major label rock album. So, right now, I'm saying that Less Than Jake's "In with the Out Crowd" is the best commercial rock album of the year.

Hey there. This is something I've been wishing to ask for a long time, but never had time before. It's the stupidest of my threads, but my imagination's limited with it.

There used to be a TV program called 'Alessandra, your sexologist' where an expert sexologist would answer people's questions and several more stuff about sex. One was a poll: 'What turns you off about your partner?' Well, there were all kinds of guys and women saying stuff. And one women said: 'Awful underwear. When a guy wears something really awful...'
I've been pondering: Now, what's 'awful underwear'? I don't think the woman would have complained if the guy had worn regular white boxers. Nor if he had worn those 'elephant trunk' stuff (if she was conservative, I bet she would have said 'those perverted boxers' or sth like that).
So, what's your idea of 'awful underwear'? Broken? Shit stained? Ragged? I don't get it! And if it was any of those, what kind of guy would wear sth like that, anyway?!

like the topic states, I went to try to catch the transit and when i got to the bus stop, it took off, then when I got back home to look for a family member's phone adress in an old adress book in the garage, the door was locked and the garage door was jammed. so it took two hours just to get out, then my uncle told me how to open a window that had safty locks on them. finally got in and hoping nothing else goes wrong...

I don't know how many people from the newsletter checks the board, so I'm gonna include this in my update later on. However, Da Wolfe and I never got a chance to go over how to send out the newsletter. So I will be unable to to so unless he shows up before I update and shows me, which is unlikely.

My Scedule, I'm trying to have the updates done by Saturday. i've already started on them so when the day comes, I just have to upload them, not make any more files or edit anymore code.

I just finished Megaman zero 4, and megaman exe 6. This was meant to be just a banner, but who knows for what reason people started to think of a new pic for the forum. So I'd like to know your opinion on this. I made it to be a little erotic, not porny. Just enough to make you realize what the site is about, and not too much to make your aunt Sophie scared if she catches a glimpse of it.

WoW released the 1.11.0 patch today... and the average wait time for others is 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!! not only that but they took down the test realms so i cant even play them... now to be bored for the next 5 hours...

Those familiar with the program know that Firefox has a useful little program called 'Video Downloader' which is capable of downloading YouTube movies. HOORAY, I'm now downloading all of Season 2, but just one problem...

IT'S FUCKING SLOW.

My normally blazing fast (anywhere from 300KBPS minimum to 650KBPS max) has slowed to - get this - 15KBPS. This is painfully slow for downloading 8 simultaneous videos (I'm moving VERY fast with downloading these because another user had his Season 2 wiped for Copyright Infringement), and I've been at it for 4 hours. I should finish Season 2 and start on Tamers by tommorow, but this is REALLY aggrivating me because my GAMES will interfere with the download and vice-versa, meaning I've been cut off from my lifeblood for the time being.
