Everyone rejoice! One of the biggest criminals on Earth, Augusto Pinochet, has passed away! Just in case you didn't have the "pleasure" to know him, he was the son of a bitch who ruled Chile for years, killed its president and anointed himself as it, killed anyone who opposed him and was proud to be "the one who destroyed communism", helped the English in massacring our troops at Malvinas, and many more things. Unfortunately, he died before paying for any of his crimes. But I'm sure he will in the other world. Thank you Satan! Give him what he deserves!

Anyone here looking forward to Spider-Man 3 besides me? I've been expecting them to bring the Venom symbiote in, and now they have. Should be one hell of a movie with how many villians it'll have and all the emotional trouble Peter'll be going through.

Well here it is...my 2000th post!!! And it's true..fred_18 said I will have 2000 by Christmas and Roran said I would have 2000 before he gets 1000. There've been people smoking on my floor in the dorm for a few weeks now and, except for that fact being reported, nothing's really been done about it.

Until tonight.

I got up to brush my teeth, only to smell that vile smell again. So, being fully awake, I plucked my phone from its cradle and called up the RA and right now, he's out in the hallway totally busting them. Talk about awesome response time! Dorms are hellish enough as it is; they don't need help being a tough place to live.

I hope they get fined super bad.

I feel very pleased with myself at the moment. ^_^

ok, I joined the DHZ when it was DHZ '03... sometime further back then I really want to remember, when all of the years still started with a "19". Shortly after the '04 version, I left for the smaller, more rowdy community of the DHZ. (I was in it for the RPs by then anyways =D) and that board has met its own sad fate. I joined this board some time ago, but never really got into it. I think at least some people from the DHZ have moved here, or something, so I doubt I am alone. In fact, I probably should have posted this in Intro, where it would safely have been ignored lol.

But I didnt come back here for nothing. I was checking my mailbox, and saw that I had recieved a PM. Unable to think of anyone who would PM me here, of all places, I tried to check... only realizing I had forgotten my password. heh, well I havent logged in for a while. Anyways, I finally get into my account... and there is no PM.

So I put my question out to the DAD'ers... has anyone else had this happen to them? is it some kind of glitch? and has it already been discussed ad-nausea? if so, someone link me =D

Really this revelation came to me during my in class essay today. Well the essay was supposed to be about that great book Their Eyes Were Watching God, yet my teacher decided to pull a quoted from one of Thoreau's works and made us use this to write an essay. His reasoning is to prepare us for the AP exams. Yet it took me twenty minutes before I found a thesis I liked, yet even then it still sucked. Well in the end while everyone was finishing I was in the middle of my mediocre at best essay. So I finish and realize how pointless it was to even do it for the grade probably turned out to be a failed grade anyway.

Then unfortuntly there was an opportunity where i could have learned something interesting, yet I also lacked the neccesary intellegence to ask decent questions. This was when fmr. senator Howard Baker came to give a chapel talk. Well unlike other times I actually had time to go ask him a question or two after the talk. Yet I wasn't able to come up with anything decent or something someone hadn't asked when there was many possiblities. So what do I do? I just thanked him for coming. Ya what a great way to use that fucking oppurtunity. These two are unfortunently a few times where I showed my true intelligence. Really maybe I should be ranting on how I have oppurtunities yet I can't use them properly.

Ya this may be crappy rant, but I really don't care. All i want is to be able to do is to become a little more intelligent and not waste these oppurtunites. Well thanks.

No seriously, this guy is the most freakish person anyone could ever live with. This guy's actions and attitude make me hate him. Here's a little litany why.

When I signed the form to be placed in a residence room with a roommate (so already, I'm not getting my first choice), I said that I wanted a roommate who was a domestic student, who didn't practice or listen to music in the room, and who kept the same hours as me. I also put down on my sheet that colognes and perfumes gave me migraines.

What do I get? A Polish jazz pianist who listens to music far too loudly on his headphones, brought an electric piano up here and tinkered with it for a while before returning it, and keeps the oddest hours I've ever seen. Okay, granted, all his family and friends in Poland are like, what 5 or 6 hours ahead of Boston time, but that doesn't mean he has to be a retard and get up at 5:25AM to talk to them. Oh right, I almost forgot, this guy snores. And by snores, I mean it sounds like he's sawing logs, calling the hogs, or any other rhyming euphemisms for "snores like a motherfuck" you can think of.

And you know when people are trying to be really quiet, but make a shit-ton of noise? Well that's exactly what he's like, at all hours. Never mind the fact that I'm letting him get wireless from my router, no, forget that. He has to slap on a half bottle of cologne every morning and then NOT open the window. It also doesn't help that he never does laundry and wears the same clothes every day, so he smells. And with the window just about always closed, it reeks in here when I've not been in for a while.

On top of that, the way the sun is slanting now, the sun comes right in the window across my whole side of the room. I HATE being in sunlight, so naturally I keep the blinds drawn. Well, I came in this morning to a stuffy, smelly room with the sun blazing in through the window across my bed and ACROSS MY LAPTOP! Like what the fuck?!?! How disrespectful can you be to do something like that? This guy is a douchebag among douchebags.

And he's a FREAK. I mean, c'mon, watching electric piano repair videos at full volume on your computer while your roommate's on the phone with his girlfriend is the height of rudeness, especially when your roommate is giving you free internet. Even ruder still is bringing a broken electric piano up, which takes up half the room, and attempting to fix it.

Compounding the freakiness, this guy puts cream cheese and ketchup on everything. Toast, bagels, hamburgers, pizza, you name it. The guy sickens me.

Thankfully, I'm leaving in less than two weeks and taking my router with me. I'm sooo glad I'll be denying him the internet. I hate his fucking guts. I've been nothing but nice and generous to him, and he turns around and acts so disrespectfully. Grrr....really gets me ticked off.
