  Can you believe this?

I found out this somewhat disturbing news while searching for info on a game I just bought. I go to a site called gamespot, not to be confused with gamestop which is a retail video game chain. This site deals with games but doesn't sell them, instead they present resources for game such as movie interviews, previews, etc. I saw something in the related news category of the game I was looking for and it had to do with a rumor about ''9/11 The Game'' I clicked on it eventually getting to this page; http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/sur...index.html

Not much is said about it since its in the early stages of development but from what I can tell it's a game where you relive past disasters such as the sinking of the Titanic, devastating earthquakes and no doubt the 9/11 attacks. Click on the news tab to get to the menu which will display the article I read. First off let me say that I am insulted by this game dubbed Survivor. I can only imagine how graphic it will be or how detailed it will deal with such events. It's a complete insult to those who lost their lives to such horrific periods in history.

Like with 9/11, what are they going to do? Put you on Windows on the World which was above the impact zone in the North Tower and see how you spend your last 102 minutes of your life? Or how about with Titanic placing you as a passenger in steerage where the crew locked the gates keeping you below deck to most likely freeze from the water or drown? I wish there was a way I can boycott this game or something. Does anyone else feel the same way I do?

Why on earth have I come here?

Less a rant. More of an explosion, less the sticky stuff. Bleh.

I tried creating a new account today, thinking of posting. Little did I realize that I created one with the same username over a year ago! Never posted once in here. Just totally weird for me that I've been here for many years, but I never actually been outgoing. Now today, I've been blowing steam and popping the fireworks by posting in several areas. Now, more than ever, do I cherish this place and what it's worth.

Fanfiction has captured my mind since I was 13. Only problem was that during the early years I haven't had much of a nerve to talk to the great authors of fanfiction, or approach them the totally wrong stalking way. During that time I've converted from love of het to love of yaoi. Give or take a few years, and now I'm shying away from most fanfiction, and I want to meet more people, both of the teenage past (Boss Reo, Gabumatic, Red Rover), and of the twixter present (Da Wolfe,Zakuyoe).
Blargh, at this rate, will I give up reading fanfiction and attempt to stalk more people? And should I attempt to catch up to people who missed the opportunity to know? Should I lay off the cheery mood and head off to sleep? Find out on the next... cliche, nevermind.

And I'll try to resist making this some sort of journal thingy. I already have one of those. *points to random 0s and 1s in the Digiworld*

*headdesk*

On writing, fanfiction and other wise.

Here I sit looking at my HTML editor with the little blinking line after a large paragraph wondering is this the best it's going to be? It is out of character, not fully devoluped(SP?) and kind of stretching but I enjoy every second of it, I smile despite being average at best I place it through the two checkers I have (Spell and grammar) before posting it later on FF.N.

I know I should try somewhat harder but really, it's for my own (and to an extent other's) enjoyment of reading something. Should we really complain about how the period is in the wrong spot all the time or how Daisuke would not bone Ken that way, Twisted ,when it is all free. Of course there is criticism, which is good and makes people better but some take it took far and complain in masses on some off site BBS unknown to the rest of the writing world (cough, moonromance, cough) about how the ever important canon is being raped.

I sit here thinking of which genre is the easiest to write for, I have a fancy for slapping two characters together for the hell of it. But my real passion lays in horror, no, that's not entirly correct, my passion lays in ghoststories as I have a thing for the spooky stuff but I usual leave be unless I really am in the mood for it (and sometimes I scare people, even myself!)

But of course they wonder how to fix fanfiction, they babble and wine about who is better, Red Oudeus Con X (supported by his opponent, Defender Of Nothing) or Defender Of Nothing (supported by his opponent, Red Oudeus Con X). One has over 100 chapters logged online 'bout two character devoloping naturally, sorry, "naturally", over the story. And nothing else. The other has 120 chapters about the same context only with more plodding and is so "in character" it's sickening. I tried reading both but found myself ether reaching for the nearest sharp object, a booze bottle to break over my head or a sleep. But give me a small half assed Miyako-Daisuke friendship thing I am a happy little sick puppy.

In short; the best stories I have read was these, the Owl and the Pussycat (999), The little sisters of Eluria (everything's eventual), riding the bullet (everthing's eventual, and a damn good ghost story too), Herbert West; Re-animator (read online) and Cool air (an anthology).

See a pattern here? I like real books as well as fanfiction, and a bet a lot of you do too. I just write to write, it is simple as that and nothing else.

Please stop thinking that in a hundred years everyone will remember "Usagi's carnal desire for Mamoru's dicky".

[EDIT: had to fix formating, I am new to the site ^n\./n^].

Of course not. We all know that but know there's proof. http://www.physorg.com/news5758.html
True it only deals with online games but we all know it's true with every other game.

sorry for the major inactivity. (got insanely busy with a new job) I also lost my disk with my third story on it for like 6 months(or something... I can't remember how long ago I was on last, heh) anyway, I found it again, broken, but I can still rig it to transfer to another disk 1 more time. and my third story is only just beginning and I also forgot what I wrote which really is a good thing. it's incomplete, and currently makes no sense. that will get my little hamster wheel going again, and should (time given) have it done with in one week's time. so sit tight if you seen my work, and liked it. if you didn't see it, look for keyword: In The Beginning.

I'll do what I can to remain an active forum... ... ...guy... omg. lost my train of thought...

Between 5:15 P.M. on 8/24/05, and 5:00 P.M. on 8/25/05, I just successfully masturbated eight times in a 24 hour period, shattering my previous record. I think I could've gone ten times if I didn't have to babysit my little brother, but you have to play with the cards you're dealt. Also, keep in mind, I'm three years past my sexual prime. When I was nineteen, I used to masturbate three times per day because I had to. Anyway, there are some people and some websites I'd like to thank for helping me along the way, but you know who you are.

Mighty Morphin' Murderer

Former child actor Skylar Deleon, who appeared as an extra in hit TV series Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, has been accused of brutally murdering a California couple by tying them to an anchor and throwing them overboard a yacht. Deleon, 26, and wife Jennifer, 24, have been ordered to stand trial for the murders of Thomas Hawks and his wife Jackie last November in an alleged plot to steal their 55 foot luxury yacht. The Orange County Superior Court heard, on Wednesday, the pair posed as interested buyers and demanded a test run off Newport Beach where they attacked the elderly pair with a stun gun before handcuffing and blindfolding them. They were then allegedly tied to the boat's 66 pound anchor and ruthlessly thrown overboard where they drowned. Police were alerted to the murder by fellow accomplice Alonso Machain who claims Delona delayed the planned killings by a week after discovering that Hawks, a retired probation officer from Arizona, was a larger man than first expected. Matt Murphy, the Deputy District Attorney, "It is haunting to think these nice, loving people were trying to hold their breaths as they sank to the bottom of the ocean. This is as cold-blooded as it gets." All the defendants have pleaded not guilty.

This is exactly as it was posted.
