I'm tired of my damn computer disconecting from the internet because the stupid thing thinks it's been idle too long. More often than not, it happens when I'm in the middle of typing on a forum, which causes me to have to retype the whole damn thing over again. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!!!

Hey everyone.

Contact will be sporadic over the next few days. I'm flying down to Boston for my Masters tomorrow morning (at 5:40AM, yay -_-;;). It'll probably take me a few days to get settled and get my internet all figured out.

Okay- firstly, I apologize deeply to EVERYONE on this site who my relative pestered, (By relative I mean Raynard) and those that I worried.

I'm a total mess, I haven't slept, I haven't eaten, and I just can't think straight- nor can I type that fast, nor at right mind- sorry guys, after all you've done for me too...

And I just- oh what the heck- I missed you all! Who am I kidding, I can never run away- I'm too much of a COWARD.

I know this is a rather pointless rant, but why do people have to idolize this women. When Paris came out with an album everyone started calling her an artist. My sister who unfortunately idolizes her, automatically said she loved her song and began saying she is a great artist. Now I have had many arguements about Paris and other celebrities with her about how she shouldn't idolize them, because they really aren't as great as she thinks. I really wouldn't mind these celebrities if they weren't idolized by so many people and are always on the news. I understand the news is a business, but when the top story of the day is when Paris Hilton is going to celibate or when photos of celeb's child sell for more than a million dollars, that is just going to far. What I wish would happen was if people would realize how pointless worshiping these people are. I know nothing will change, but it would be great if my family wouldn't always talk about celebs.

One thing I find a personal peeve as I look at the internet community is how so many "peeps" act as if they love English and it's the only language the world "shud" have, and yet they butcher it by shorthanding words that don't need it, misspelling and showing no regard for the fact that they make these mistakes, let alone graver mistakes, sins against not only the words, but the grammar and language as a whole.

WHat annoys me the most is the people who would claim that English is too complicated and needs to be simplified in some way to be easier! How would we do that? Add new letters, one for every phoneme our language uses? Or shall we simplify spelling by butchering the kistory of our words, as much as we already butcher half of the pronunciations, particularly those coming from foreign languages. Either way we'd be tarnishing the beautiful and eloquent English language which I am proud to call my mother tongue.

So wut do u guyz think? Shud we make it ezer to read n rite english so kidz have less truble in skul?

Sorry about that. I hate that sort of thing and though I'll not deny I have a tendency to make typographical errors, I accept correction when I make one as an error, and not intentionally. Call me elitist if you will, but English is fine as it stands, and I say if anything we should step back to an earlier time of the language, when people spoke it more properly and paid more heed to their peers when their flaws in se of the tongue were pointed out.

I asked a shop why no Digimon CD at all. The shop got old and new Pokemon series but no Digimon series. He told me that Digimon is over and nobody will watch anymore.

In the last Popular Science, there was an article that talked about a hybrid inspired by the X Prize, a created open contest where $25,000,000 USD would be awarded to the first company to bring a 100 mpg car to the market. And it looks like soon this'll happen!

The Aptera Concept, one of the ugliest three-wheeled cars I've ever seen, may hit the market soon in two years with a cost of under $20,000 USD. Despite the Goldmember-mobile's looks, this car is expected to pull off about 330 MILES TO THE GALLON! This car would be a godsend to the environment, which is obviously starting to fight back against us.

But what I'm wondering is: will this change anything? How many citizens are willing to pick the mileage of this scooter over the looks of the 20 mpg Ford Pickup, or the 35 mpg Civic?
