Hilary Clinton got into trouble recently for making a joke in which she said that she thought Mahatma Gandhi was her gas station attendant. Obviously, she was playing on the Indian working at the convenience store stereotype (Apu). I'm a little torn on this one. On one hand, it was kind of offensive. On the other hand, it was clearly meant as a joke. I like it when you can tell when people aren't being serious.

*BING* All gone. Wisemon, I don't want you to think I'm smarter than you because I read fast, I took a four week course to read like that, and it takes constant practice to stay like that. I also read a lot because 1. I read at that speed. and 2. I enjoy reading a lot.
And I'm thinking that your 'rich' comment is due to the 150+ movie and 50+ dvd thing. Thats just a long accumulation. 60% of those movies are tapes, really old ones, and we took years getting them all.

Just liked to clear it up with you. Sorry if I came off as 'pompous' to you. I only brought up those topics because the way my train of thought was running that night. I wasn't trying to make out that I was superior in any way.

Well today sucked! I got to school forgot homework from one class, got like 4 new projects and had a firealarm go off at my lunch...on top of that I have two days off to do one of my projects, well only one now that my mom wants me to come over for dinner so we can talk about where I am going to live during college, I live with my dad and she wants me to move back in with her, and all of these things happened so fast at once it's over whelming.
