Crimson groaned before he admitted, "You're probably right, Wengren. Besides, we need all four gems to use the Soul Extractor, I left the other three with Ikonnen. All I have is this one..." He held out the Garnet Gem given to him by Ada. "Bahamut is powerful, but I'm not sure even the lord of dragons could stand up to that demon..."
Crimson stood up and addressed everyone. "We'll wait for everyone to arrive and see what they think, if we're going to do anything we shouldn't have any doubt. I had only thought of a small team sneaking in to rescue Kellie before beginning our true attack. The Soul Extractor can't be used until we get that fake summon gem out of her, the Final Summon which would power said machine would grow violent and out of control. The Final Summon scorns all those who attempt to make and use such impostors and carbon copies. That and we need the other gems..."
Ada continued to look up into the skies, noticing the clouds had become quite dark, the sun completely obscured as if a storm was coming. "We had better brace ourselves...this seems to be an ill omen."
"Aww, now you've gone and ruined all the fun." answered a voiced from the shadowy clouds before moving in closer. With red eyes glaring down on the dragons and fox, the shadow dragon chuckled before continuing. "So I see two of you have a few new features...let's hope they include swimming." A crack of purple lightning struck in the background whilst Jedrek threw a sharp looking shadow down towards the boat, water now spilling in from the hole.
"What?!" Dorothy suddenly gasped, noticing the hole, the Myrmiddon looked to the sky, noticing the shadow dragon, Is that... she thought for a moment, but looked on them both, "We've got to get out of the boat or we'll sink!" she exclaimed. She herself was an aquatic dragoness, she would be able to easily swim, even in her armor, but she was worried about the other two.
"Even if it's hopeless," Hiro looked up at Wngren, his eyes burning with determination, "I can't leave her behind." He said finally.
"Uhh, look," Kit said to get attention back on her, "I hate to break up this little thing but Kellie is still in danger and we're wasting time." Kit said hurriedly.
"Told you you'd like it more this way." Ada gasped before she summoned her magic to allow her to float above the seas. Poor Insane, he seems to have forgotten completely about Float magic. The vixen looked down to Dorothy and Kurtz, seeing them still swimming in the darkened waters. "Doublecast!" Her paws glowed before both of the dragons were given Float magic as well, allowing them to hover above the waves harmlessly.
Jedrek roared upon seeing this, the shadow spirit glaring at his opponents. "Clever...but how will you deal with this!" Three blobs of living shadow were fired from his great maw towards the trio. More purple lightning struck in the distance as the dragon chuckled at their peril.
