Mar looked on Crimson, then on Ada, "Fucking-" he gasped, "You are..." he examined the red fox, "Wait- who are you?" he asked.
OOC: Jedrek was spying on Kellie from the corner outside the sealed room, CW.
IC:
"Damn..." Jedrek growled as he lunged out from the corner, his halberd aimed for the vampire's head, his green eyes filled with intensity.
Crimson scratched his head as he looked at Mar, vaguely recalling him from the earlier memory. "Name's Crimson...I'm a scientist here at the Cross...and I think I remember you...you were in my classes back from the village..."
Ada felt her heart race before she said, "Crimson...but the undead...how did you escape..."
The fox grew silent as he looked towards Ada before he spoke again. "The undead had begun to attack the town as I was working on my project then...the villagers were either captured or killed by the hordes of undead...I though I was doomed as well...Mom and Dad distracted them...giving me a chance to flee..." The scientist felt joy fill his body as he embraced Ada. "...when I returned I thought I had lost everything in the destruction...including you Ada, my sister..."
The vixen shook her head as she broke the hug, feeling guilty and shameful as she turned away. "No...I don't deserve it...Crimson, I was an Insane...I killed many before I knew what I was doing..." A tear ran down her cheek as felt very dirty and sinful at that moment.
"Ada...I..." Crimson couldn't stop her though as Ada drifted away into the shadows, the scientist surprised before he turned to Mar. "Why...how did this happen, Mar? What did Kubrika do to her?"
Kellie barely blocked the attack in time since she is not used to using a her gun blade as tried to take off her head.
Colby followed Disturbed to the Kitchen and fixed herself a simple salad.
"Ada!" said Mar, "W-Wait!" he tried to reach her, but she had vanished into the shadows. He sighed, before shaking his head and looking on Crimson, "She and I were corrupted all this time. We've been blindly serving Kubrika for 7 or 8 years..." he said, growling to himself.
Crimson growled as he punched the wall in frustration as he heard what Mar had to say. "Dammit...I have to go find her!" The fox scientist began running out of the medical bay, using his nose to track the vixen's scent.
Ada looked across the southern horizon as tears ran down her face, the guilt tearing her apart. I could deal with all my crimes with Mar and the people from the Cross...but my brother...how can we possibly be twins when I'm such a shameful monster... And Mar, he must think I'm a hypocrite now after all I said... The vixen wanted to just disappear as she continued to look to the skies, tears flowing down her cheeks.
A growl left the dark dragon as he pushed against her gunblade. "Ha, you won't be beat me, traitor. Brute Force!" Using his boost technique, Jedrek knocked Kellie back with his weapon before slicing her arm, returning to a defensive stance shortly after.
Mar, not caring about his current feelings nor Crimson's reaction, left for outside really fast. He looked left and right, trying to focus in finding Ada's prescense. Want to talk or not- he thought, then jumped off the ground, the enhanced strength allowing him to get to the very top of the building. Mar, sensing Ada inside the Observatory.
The dragon made his way inside the building, "Ada" were his only words, but still, he said them with a voice she'd recognize as most serious.
Ada gasped as she looked around to see Mar at the doorway, the vixen looking away as she swept away her tears. "Martin...I'm sorry...I just, I couldn't face him...not after all I've done...I'm just a pathetic, hypocritical coward..."
Crimson climbed the stairs as quickly as he could, still tracking Ada. Ada...please be up here...
Mar went towards Ada, walking to the vixen. When in front of her, the dragonute picked her up in his arms so they'd be face level, "I don't care" were his stern words, "I don't care who you are or what you did. I just care that you are... you" he said, before looking at her eyes. "Running away from him won't prove anything. I took my chance and wasn't lucky with Dorothy. What if Crimson does accept it? What do you have to lose for trying?" His eyes stared on hers, showing honesty and sincerity at all times.
Ada hugged the dragonute tightly, looking at the truth in his eyes and listening to every word. "You're...you're right...I can't run...he's the only family I have left...just stay by my side Mar...I need you..." The vixen nuzzled him softly as she tried to calm down.
A few seconds later, Crimson burst into the room, panting a little from climbing up all those flights of stairs before he went over to the couple. "Ada...please listen..."
"Crimson..." The vixen stopped as she tried to keep eye contact with her brother, fear running throughout her body.
"I...don't know what to say exactly...Insanes were the reason our village was destroyed...why there has been so much suffering throughout this land...but Mar told me what had basically happened...I know you're innocent..." The fox scientist came closer, looking deep into the black wizard's eyes.
"No...a black wizard not knowing she was being controlled...I should be punished for all have done..." She sunk her head into Mar's chest, as she felt liking hiding away.
The fox scientist shook his head before he lifted Ada's head so that they were talking face to face. "Ada...we both know what Kubrika is capable of... Sister, I admit I don't know all the crimes you've done, but...I can't leave behind the only family I've got...besides if you're here then you're trying to make up for it all, right?"
"Yes..." she answered with a little nod.
Crimson smiled as he replied, "Then stop pitying yourself...I remember my little sister being stronger than this."
"I will try...thank you, brother." the black wizard said, wiping away the last tears. "...Mar, lets go find our room, I need some rest after all this... but brother, I wish to speak to you later...just give me time."
"Of course." he said as he understood before looked to Mar with appreciation, "...and thank you for taking good care of Ada, Mar..."
The male dragon looked to Ada while cuddling her, he nodded to Crimson as he left, then she held the girl closer, "I'm here for you" he said, "Let's go see Ikonnen, I'm sure he could give us a room."
