"Nothing concrete enough yet," Talon growled a bit, the betrayal of their superiors hitting a nerve for him, "From what we can piece together the krogan's captured a sample of the genophage, not sure if they knew what it was, and traded it for some high-end weaponry. Keeping a sample of it out of their hands at any cost would be a no-brainer, so the question would be 'why the secrecy' in the exchange. Something's going on, and we need to get to the bottom of it to clear our names." he took a deep breath, In the worst case scenario Sigma may be manufacturing a cure, if he does he'd be able to create an army of krogan warriors and easily conguer anything that stands in his way. he stole a quick glance towards Tritop before walking back towards Zevia, If so, we're going to have one hell of a fight on our hands. he thought before approaching her, "How's the ship? Any serious damage from the attack?" he asked.
"At least it will be harder for him to track us in this thing," Raddia patted the wall, knowing that in the least it didn't have a tracker like the Turian prison vessel. "So yeah, is the ship okay, Zevia? Felt like they were gonna melt the shield generators with all they were throwing at us."
"Blast it!" Gerris could be heard cursing down in engineering. She had been rerouting power until now via omnitool commands, but since she hadn't actually done the job of an engineer, physically manipulating outlets and inputs, the circuit board for the defense turrets went up in smoke. "Goddamnit. I'm an infiltrator, not an engineer by the spirits!" she angrily shouted, activating the fire extinguishing system to cool down the affected area and prevent the damage from spreading anywhere else.

When she came out of the engineering bay, her front was covered in blackness, holding the broken circuit board in her claw. "We're not going to be shooting or boosting FTLs anytime soon, people," she announced.
"Gerris, what did you do?!" Zevia shouted as she grabbed the circuit looking at it over. "It's fried. Didn't you reroute the ISO power so it wouldn't feedback in the module?" she paused and sighed as she noticed Gerris's black marks over her face. "Then again you probably didn't know that."

Tritop chuckled looking over Gerris, "Quite a mess, looks like the computer took a few rounds out of you." he grinned.

"It's fixable, there are some spare parts in the lockers down on engineering bay. Providing they didn't catch fire as well." Velk said.

"Fixable maybe, but it'll take me 8 hours to get all the components fixed." Zevia groaned.

"Take it as punishment for pointing a gun at me." Velk said sternly before looking to Raddia. "I'm going to tackle the shield generators, and I'll need an asari biotic to move the couplers."

Raddia's Varren growled for a moment as he stood by his asari owner.

"Sure! Sounds loads easier than blocking a barrage of missiles." Raddia chuckled lightly, giving Ignatius a gentle pet on the head before she followed Velk towards the shield generators. As they strolled, she motioned for the Varren to calm himself, not wanting to agitate the aged Turian any more.
"I got our asses out of the frying pan and skipped the oven entirely. Don't need to be happy about it," Gerris grumbled at both Zevia and Tritops without looking at either.

She approached Talon, really feeling the only ilk to be with him out of the entire group. "What are we going to do now?"
"Right now get this ship up to snuff, it's good, but we're gonna need great. We're going to need to somehow find out what exactly what's going on and wheither or not the Turian goverment is aware of it or if this is some solo project." He thought for a moment, "We're going to need to find out where those weapons vanished from, where they've been, and where the genophage has gone to."
Iggy softly growled as the varren acknowledged his master's request following her and the turian to the engine room for repairs.

"Impressive you have a varren for a pet. They usually can't be tamed." Velk said as he could feel the varren watch him. "Also very protective." he chuckled as they made their way to the sheild generators. The twin generators taking up most of the room as they sparked and fizzed from the damage they had taken. The smell of burnt electronic filled the room. "Hmmm going to be a lot of work." he said removing his armor exposing his chest before opening a hatch. "Lets get to it."

**Bridge**

"I guess after I fix this board, I'll have to get work on Tafina's data. Perhaps it'll tell us where we can find this Volus that did the deal initially." Zevia said as she stood beside Talon giving him a generous view of her large breasts while keeping him separate from Gerris. "Till then, where shall we go?" she tilted her head flirtatiously as if to annoy Gerris.

"I'm going to check over the weapons then hit a hot shower." Tritop said as he stood up and left the bridge not wanting to be around the bridge any longer then he had to.
"Yeah, I can't really explain it either. I gave him a good thrashing when he attacked me at Tritop's base, and now he's all over me." Raddia laughs softly as she follows Velk to the shield generators and begins moving the couplers as requested with her biotic powers. "Hmmm, so you have a history with Zevia, eh?"
Gerris, not liking the conversation interruption at all, glared at the quarian like the tomboyish girl she was, "I have a theory," she responded to Talon's last comment, looking towards him, "Those krogan were doublecrossed by the echelon our ex-general belongs to. The large amounts of weapons we saw back in the warehouse would need to go through a very scrutinous channel, so it must've been a deal under the table," she nodded to herself, "Black Market merchants are as discreet as the highest bidder. If we trace the deal back to its source, we'll have traced the origin of the deal. It's also a way to secure strong evidence of military corruption."
