Gerris quickly interfaced her targeting VI with the ship's system and managed a zoom-in function which allowed her to pin point a weak spot in the following cruiser's main batteries. "Raddia, aim for the underside of the cruiser to your left!" she shouted, then aimed to cruiser to her right. She began focus-firing on the cruise's weak spot, and even though their fire power was vastly outgunned she was confident this would cripple them and allow them to escape.
Raddia and Talon's efforts were successful as the fighters backed off and attempted to compensate for the countermeasures.

Gerris' shots hit the underside of the cruiser causing damage to the main batteries, but soon the cruiser's doors opened up to reveal hundreds of small laser cannon training onto the prision ship and firing.

The ship shook as Zevia looked at her display. The shields were at 40% and dropping fast, the cruiser was literally ripping them to shreds as it fired over top of them. "3 seconds to jump.....2......1!" The engine roared as the FTL drive engaged and the ship was propelled from the system.

The ship shuddered as the engine's groaned from the strain of the travel. "Come on girl, hold together." Zevia said as they entered the Satira system before dropping back into normal space. She let out a sigh, and patted the console. "Good girl." she muttered as she looked to the rest of the group wondering what they do now.

**Grevis**

Grevis walked onto the bridge of his main battle cruiser and looked through the panoramic view ports. "Report." he said sternly to his captain who jumped slightly from the strong command.

"General, the fugitives jumped into FTL, and....regrettable we're unable to locate their destination, but we believe it was one of the nearby systems."

Grevis nodded, "Send out some long range fighter squads and scout those systems. I want those fugitives found and destroyed." he growled looking at the captian sternly.

"Yes, General."

Grevis left the bridge and pulled out his comm. "Nila."
"Yes, General."

"Have you leveled the warehouse?"

"Yes, the weapons were destroyed along with the computer banks." Nila continued. "We also came across the Quarian ship that had crash landed. No markings on it, not even id numbers."

Grevis pondered, "Try and access the ships main computer. I want to know why a Quarian was here."

"We tried General, but as soon as we linked up to the computer it exploded. Seems the Quarian had a self-destruct system on all her systems."

"Hmmm....destroy what's left of it, and when you return broadcast a systems wide bulletin for their arrest in all council space. I want to corner them as soon as possible."

"Understood sir. Nila out." Grevis closed his comm as he entered his quarters. He was impressed that his students could evade him so well. In a way it made him proud that they did, but at the same time he couldn't allow them to hinder the NightWatch's plan. Grevis sat alone in his quarters as he pondered his next move.
Raddia took a heavy breath as she finally allowed herself to relax, letting go of the weapon controls to look back at her comrades. "Thank goodness we got out of there. Those guys were much better shots than the guys on the ground." She looked down to the Varren she had befriended planet-side and gave him a quick pet, letting him know they were safe for the moment. "So where did we end up? If one of the Asari or Salarian worlds is nearby, I'm sure they can protect us with this information we've got."
"Satira system," Talon read the display as he looked out the cockpit's windows, "Not too familiar with the area. We should ditch this ship asap, if I know Grevis he'll already be sending out arrest orders for all of us and flying around in a stolen prison transport won't help us blend in." he unbuckled himself and stood, walking into the man cabin of the ship, "Search every inch for anything we can use, weapons, ammo, anything that looks valuable." he ordered as he opened the hatch to the room at the far end of the ship to see what was kept inside.
Gerris got off her turret and lied against the wall, pressing her head against the cold steel, only slightly warmed by the recent gun fight. She closed her eyes, letting out a soft sigh as she pondered the recent events.

Ask her the day before and Gerris would've defended her racial honor to death, but that day she felt that was a moot point. No one was above corruption, not even the hierarchy, their so meritocracy by excellency. She turned around and lied against her back, looking up at the ceiling with a defeated look, wondering what cause she should serve now. If not to defend her ideals and protect Palaven's superiority, what was there for her to fight for?

Then Grevis's confident stare appeared in her mind's eye. She immediately shut her eyes and grit her fangs together. "I'm wasting time. He has to pay for his betrayal, and I... I need to make him suffer for making me feel like this," she told herself, reassuring herself without a clear mission, but a decided goal.

That's when she heard Talon speaking and proceeded to scrounge the ship for resources. "There isn't much in this ship. What guns they had on board were taken with the guards that went down with them. There are a few spare thermal clips here, but the majority excess are heavy weapon power cells. Two medical stations, we're not going to survive for long if we enter another gunfight," she reported via omni-tool, not wanting to show herself to anybody yet.
As Talon opened the door open the door, a large hand came out of the darkness and grabbed his collar and pulled him in. Before he knew his arm was bent to a point it nearly broke as someone grabbed his gun and pressed it against his temple.

"Move and I'll kill you like the lizard you are." Tritop growled as he held Talon in front of him.

Zevia quickly pulled her pistols out and aimed at Tritop, but paused as she couldn't get a clear shot.

"Don't even try it, Quarian." Tritop snapped as he kept the pistol against Talon's head while he walked out of the room keeping Talon in front of him at all angles.

Talon grunted as he was suddenly grabbed and used as a human shield, "Damn, just our luck we'd escape in the ship holding you." He almost wanted to laugh at the impressive run of bad luck they'd had in the last few hours. His eyes darted around the compartment. He noted the Krogan still had it's armor, probably little if anytime to strip it of him in the chaos, so any sudden physical attack would be useless, the nearest thing to an unarmored part was his skull, and for a Krogan that might as well be covered in a layer of steel, "Well, funny running into you here. Small galaxy huh?" he grinned a bit.
Gerris still at the ship's depot hadn't heard the small scuffle, but as she finally managed to get herself calm she began to return to her comrades. She had to get over it and pursue a new goal, which was to expose the truth for what it was.

But then the closer she got to the deck the tenser the air seemed, she could hear voices arguing down the hall and eventually her eyes widened as she picked one different from the ones she had counted with, yet one Gerris could easily recognize as familiar since it had been so little since they'd seen him before.

Thanking herself for not taking her recon suit off, Gerris quickly punched the code for tactical cloak in her omnitool and silently approached the deck, where she indeed saw the krogan holding Talon hostage, a gun primed to his temple. "If I can snap the nerves on his arms I can disable him, but that will take one too many strikes that I have time for..." her omniblades slowly and stealthily began to draw as she snuck up. "I could knock him out by severing his spine now that his armor is weakened... but the krogan back is too thick, if I miss even by an inch I'll cause him to blow Talon's brains out," she groaned to herself, her eyes darting all over Tritops's frame to find any quick weak-point.

Eventually, she decided herself for something less subtle.

Taking the chance she was cloaked, Gerris leapt forwards and roundhoused Tritops's hand, blowing her cover but hopefully knocking his only weapon off. Of course this also meant the Krogan was left, since he might as well be a weapon himself. In that case, Gerris jumped onto the bigger creature and attempted to dig her omniblade on his shoulder for leverage before she brought her arm back, ready to impale his face with the other one, "You should've had the sense to have stayed down, krogan."
"Hmph, I suppose this is the part where you make demands, yes?" uttered Raddia, before blinking from the sudden appearance of Gerris who kicked at Tritop's weapon. "Holy shit!" The commando pulled herself together and threw a Stasis orb at Tritop, the fractures in his armor unable to protect him from the immobilizing effects this time. "Get out of there Talon! Stasis doesn't last forever."
Talon cursed as he felt the Krogan's grip tightening from the surprise attack, the bone in his wrist inches away from being shattered, This is going to suck so hard, he thought as he suddenly jerked towards the arm that was being held, letting out a loud roar of pain through gritted teeth as his shoulder dislocated. He used the extra room to turn around, quickly bringing a foot up into a damaged section of the Krogan's armor as he kicked away from him, letting out another painful growl as he hit the ground.

"Grr, fuck," he cursed as he stood, his right arm hanging limp and useless. "Disable him, I want to ask him a few questions about those weapons suppliers!" he shouted to Gerris, not wanting the Krogan killed. The weapons and shipping manifest were in a warehouse he was under control of, odds were he knew something about what was happening.
