In that case, since you're trustworthy, why don't you take the treasurer job. We'll send the funds to you, and you can send them to the host. I'd do it myself, but I don't want it traced back to me.

Now THIS is the kind of progress we need to keep! Third time I'm posting this, but this is because I've made a mistake.

Kousu, it would be great if we could get a more definite figure from you. And please know that if you're actually a funding board member, you'll most likely be expected to keep up with your part of the payment every month, unless something comes up and you really can't. Otherwise, you should just be a regular donator.

senjuro, you offered $5.00 in Canadian Dollars. I converted it to U.S. Dollars, and that's $4.23, just so you know (if you didn't already).

With Wisemon's $7.50, a GUESS of $5.00 from Kousu, and senjuro's $4.23, we get a grand total of $16.73 a month. This is good news! We have enough to cover a basic payment if this setup stays! But it would be smart to have backup members, for when the regular board members really need to miss a payment for one reason or another (try not to make this too often).

UnknownH may or may not take up the treasurer job, but I didn't list him simply because he hasn't volunteered for it. Just so everyone knows, he's a possible candidate. If he accepts, the treasurer will be one of senjuro or UnknownH.

Gucchi has volunteered to be our administrator, but he has a slow internet connection. He's a possible candidate for this since he volunteered, however.

Is there anyone else who wants to volunteer for anything at all? I want to get a certain and definite list in front of me of who wants to do what. And since we've been dawdling around, I think we should have a closeoff date for the volunteer list, so we're not constantly waiting. I'd say next Wednesday would be a good time to close it off, unless for some reason we need some more volunteers for something.

We've almost got it! After we've decided who is who, we let Chibi know, and this problem should be solved once and for all. Let's just get this part done!

My first guess would be site admin. Since it appears that ChibiRenamon doesn't want that job anymore, we need one. But then again, it could be a board admin as well.

well, if it's the site admin... that's basically the role of the updater unless there are all sorts of serious problems with the site that require it to be a separate job. Board admin would make more sense and I assume that Chibi R. is also the admin here on the boards.

Well...... actually, yeah. I mean, you'd think that people who've been here for so long would care more than people who rarely post or who just joined. I mean, how busy are you when you can't send a few dollars via paypal? DaWOLFE is the only person trying to lead any kind of charge to save the place and he hasn't even been an active board member up until now. This place used to have a lot of crazed fans who'd bitchslap their own moms for insulting the great DaD. Where'd they all go?

Thankfully, the ones who were level-headed and actually able to think clearly were in charge. NOT the crazy-obssessives.

I love this place, in all honesty, but the trials and tribulations of Reality tend to take a much higher authority and attention than this site. I would gladly lend some money to help, if I could. But as it turns out currently, I'm not in that best situation. I'm very sure that a lot of other people can relate. I do appreciate what everyone is trying to do, and I'm behind them all the way on this. It's just that given my current strife at home and at work, I am unable to provide money.
