[Kalyx]

"Alright, people!" Kalyx raps his right claw sharpely atop his wooden desk, then begins to pace about the room. "Class...there will always be difference of opinions, when it come to relationships. Everyone's an individual, with their own set of values and morays and their own sense of what they believe what is right and wrong. What I'm trying to teach here, in part, is tolerance. You may not like or agree with the principles of others' relationships, or lack thereof, but you must respect them. If people are in love, in lust...or whatever, and are doing no harm to each other, or anyone else...and...are still happy and content; then why should we question them or their relationship? The world would be a much better place, if everyone could understand and abide by this simple and obvious realization."

"Great speech, Kalyx!", Fiero applauds, clapping his clawed-wings.

Fieri smiles, "Yes, Kalyx. You've made me, and my brother, feel so much better about ourselves. Thank you!"

"Well, Fieri, I appreciate the compliment.", the professor bows in response, then sits back on the edge of his desk, "Although, I hope you won't change your opinion of me after I announce our first assignment."

Psyri scoots forward to the edge of her chair, hanging on Kalyx' every word. Oh-ho, this ought to be good!

Looking up to address all his pupils, "Since this is a class about relationships, I'd like to see how each of you develops and nutures a friendship with someone new; unfamiliar, but yet, not a total stranger. Please, if you will, look around the room and pair up with another student. I'd like to see three groups of two, in front of me, in about five minutes. Go."

Raze got up out of his seat quickly and rushed over to Psyri. He knelt down in front of her and gazed up at her with the cutest face he could pull. "Hello, fair dragoness. Shall we be partners?"

Damn, he works fast, Violetta thought. That just left three phoenixes, one of which he wanted nothing to do with. She arose from her seat and walked over to the twins. She looked at Fieri.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to steal your brother," she spoke kindly and smiled. "Well, what do you think, Fiero?"

Suzaku just watched everything that was happening. As it appeared now, it seemed as if he would be stuck with Fieri, well, if everything went as the other two planned. He sighed. Maybe he could learn a little more about Fieri causing his opinion of her and her brother to change. Understanding is the key to many relationships.

"Sure, why not.", the dragoness laughed, exteding out her claw to help him up. "But please...Please! You don't have to kneel before me like some chivalrous knight or something. Just get up and sit with me; here, in the loveseat."


"It's OK, Violetta.", the shapely phoenix rises from the couch, gently grasping the dragoness' shoulder and whispering, "Just a long as I get him back, in one piece." Quickly winking to them both, she saunters across the room towards Suzaku.


"What do I think? I think you're more than welcome to join me...partner." Getting to his feet, the phoenix greets Violetta and grasps her claw; ushering her to the couch, where his sister had been.


Crossing the carpeted floor, Fieri sizes up Suzaku, as she approaches him. Wow, another phoenix, this is kinda exciting. I didn't think there were any others, besides us two. He's not Digimon, though...but, he is rather cute.

Stopping before him, Fieri flicks and flits her tail feathers, turning slightly to one side and waving, "Hey there, Suzaku."


Watching contently from his desk chair, Kalyx leans back and smiles. Well, that wasn't so bad...I guess. These students are getting along much better than I could've ever planned, or imagined.

"Who says that I am not a chivalrous knight, eh?" Raze asked Psyri with a fake British accent. "I will rid this world of evil, for thee, my princess," he continued theactrically. He then decided to give it a rest after a strange look from Violetta, and an even stranger look from Suzaku. He sat down next to his partner and smiled.

"I wonder what kind of assignment he's gonna have us do," Raze whispered to Psyri.

Violetta took a seat next to Fiero, trying to ignore Raze's dramatization. "Well, I'm sure this is bound to be a fun assignment," she said kindly and smiled. "But with a teacher like ours--well, he's unpredictable."

Suzaku blushed and looked away. "W-well, I guess we get to be partners, Fieri. I-I wouldn't have it any other way." He tried to smile, but he was really nervous. Look at me getting all flustered... He then became alert. "Uh, would you like to sit next to me?"

"Of course, Suzaku...why do you think I'm coming over here?" Smiling sweetly, the shapely avian sits next to him, in the same comfy chair; her feathers brushing softly against his own.

"Yeah...but I like his style, Violetta.", the male phoenix turns to her and replies. "You couldn't ask for a more interesting class."

"I don't know, Hon...", the dragoness whispers back, leaning over towards the wolf, "...but I think we're going to find out, soon."


Standing up from his teacher's chair, the professor speaks, "OK class, very good; I see three good-looking couples, before me. Now...if I could have your attention, please. The next phase of this assignment requires us to move our class upstairs, to the second floor of this house. But before we do, let me one thing, perfectly clear. You will be encountering and discovering adult subject matters and situations, from here on out. I don't want to reveal the whole assignment, just yet; but if anyone feels that they cannot deal with certain aspects of biology, psychology, anatomy, sexuality and so on...in a mature, open-minded way, they may be excused from the rest of this course, if anyone so desires."

Violetta couldn't hold back her laugh, but she spoke seriously afterward. "This is what I have been preparing myself for, Kalyx. If I wasn't ready, I wouldn't be here."

Raze examined her questioningly. "Wow, and I thought I was dramatic," he whispered to Psyri. "However," he added, but spoke aloud so everyone could hear, "I believe you can trust in all of us, Professor, to be mature so that we may further our knowledge of your aforementioned subjects that would involve adult content. It's not like it can be terribly bad...this is a college, after all."

Suzaku was impressed by Raze's sudden seriousness, for he had a low opinion of him before. He put on a serious face and nodded in agreement, but he said nothing.

Once all the students had replied in agreement, the young professor stepped over toward the stairway, and began walking upstairs. "Then, if all of you would please follow me, we'll move on to the next phase of this class, on the second floor."

Kalyx jogged on ahead, up the carpeted staircase, to the next floor of the house.


Fiero got up and helped Violetta up from the chair, taking her claw into his own, "Well, that seemed a little odd, that speech and all. It must be some sort of disclaimer statement the college requires him to say."

"Let's go, Raze! I'm just dying to see what's up there!", Psyrixia exclaimed, bounding from the loveseat; taunting the wolf with her swaying hips and swishing tail.

Setting a clawed wing on his shoulder, Fieri stands up before her partner. Giving him a reassurring smile, she tilts her head, "Come on, Suzaku...you don't want to be left behind, do you? I have a feeling it should be fun...so, whaddya say?"

"Wait for me, my lovely, scaly princess," Faze called out as he ran after her. "You wouldn't want to get caught by any monsters now, would you?" He laughed as he started up the stairs in a hurry.

Violetta clasped Fiero's claw gently. "Yeah, but that is quite some disclaimer. He acts as if there's a porn movie being filmed up there or something," she said and laughed at the thought.

Suzaku smiled slightly and stood up. His heart was warmed at Fieri's kindness. "Yeah, we wouldn't want to be left behind," he replied as cheerily as he could. "I-I'm glad everyone's getting along so well," he stuttered as he progressed to the stairs with his partner. But I must say I'm curious about what's going to happen upstairs. Maybe it's a secret, high-tech science lab or something...

Upon reaching the top of the stairs, the students were greeted with an unusual and probably unexpected site. The entire second floor of the house was basically one big room, except for a large triple-sized bathroom, at the corner, to the immediate left. All the old walls had been torn down and removed and the whole level had been renovated, recarpeted, repainted and refurnished. In fact, the newly reconstructed room now resemebled one extra-large bedroom.
Around the perimeter of the room sit four king-sized beds, with a few arm chairs, dressers, small tables and lamps set about here and there. And, situated at its center, a 15 ft. circular bed, with Kalyx sitting atop, on the edge, facing his students.

"So, everyone...what d'ya think?"

"Wow!! Awesome bedroom, Kalyx!...I should've guessed", Psyrixia exclaims and winks to him, then turns quickly to the male wolf and whispers, "Let's go grab that one by the large window Raze, before anyone else has the chance."

Scanning the room's furnishings, Fieri blushes a bit, then leans against and tugs at Suzaku's arm; looking up to him. "See, Hon...I told you this was going to be fun."

"Well, Violetta...I guess you were'nt too far off when you suggested a porn movie.", Fiero clenches the dragoness' claw as he ushers her around the wooden railing. "

Violetta's jaw dropped when she saw the amazing bedroom. The many beds and furnishings made her feel more comfortable, but she was surprised by how close her guess was. "I was only joking," she managed to say. "All of these guys are fools, right, Kalyx? Who would allow pornography at a college?"

Raze smiled and laughed while taking Psyri's claw and rushed off with her to the bed she suggested. "I don't know what's goin' on here, but I agree with whatever happens one hundred percent!"

Although the room was very homely, Suzaku still didn't feel right. "Y-yeah, I know this class will be fun," he said half-heartedly trying to reassure Fieri that he was fine. "Shall we get a bed ourselves? It seems that our wolf and dragoness friends haven't wasted any time."
