Hrrm. Teen Titans is indeed a good show. A few things do disappoint me.
1. Other than those bats and Robin's single line in that episode. (I won't say anything, don't wanna ruin anything for those who have not seen it yet.) There has been no mention of Batman, who is basically Robin's mentor to a point. 2. There is minimal if no interaction between the Titans and the city they protect. It's just the Titans and the bad guys. It is as if the city has no idea what is going on, makes it seem like a ghost town to me.
Those are my beefs with it, otherwise, it does the job wuite well of being humourous and having a fairly good plot and character development. Well sticking with the DC Comics theme in this topic. Batman Beyond wasn't half bad. What ever happened to its spinoff, The Zeta Project, that show had its good parts but it wasn't great. Justice League isn't bad either, well especially of late, episodes have been more centered on Earth rather than them fighting in either a) another dimension or b) another planet. Ok, it isn't DC Comics, it is Marvel, but it got mentioned in here somewhere. X-Men: Evolution is not half bad either, but it isn't the original X-Men sadly. By the way, anybody know if they are gonna bother with bringing out DVDs of each season of the original series? Evolution is alright, I find the drawings are not the greatest and the plot takes its sweet time moving before they shove you full of MAJOR developments in all of 3 episodes, then end the season and leave you drooling for more, but you don't get more until the end of the next season( to get to the end of that season, you've got to wait a little, by the time they air it, and finally get to there, it's been a few months) where they shove another 3 episodes of MAJOR development down your throat, and it seems like they are gonna repeat the process until they decide to stop. Another question, does anybody know when they are gonna decide to bring out DVDs of the seasons of the 1992 Batman series, now that was a good series and apparently it won an Emmy! I remember watching that as a kid, how I love Batman, so dark, so mysterious, so scary to the villains, that's his special ability. Actually the last episode of Justice League I watched, the one with that guy who gives himself psychic abilities to go into peoples dreams and mess with their mind, now that was a frickin' amazing episodes. Best part: when Batman hums the song in his head to keep him out and then kicks the guy's ass. Ohh sweetness, it was such a devious ploy. Ok please forgive me for that endless blabber, I've got exams in two days, I need to relieve myself of some pressure and it all came out on this post. Stupid exams.
