the key to art is all rendering, you are rendering a cahracter or scene with a pencil and trying to make it look real threw the variouse styles you use. What ever method you use has its fullest potential. eventualy you'll start to understand things about the world and arange it into the stlye in your own way. such as in all styles where the caracter is suposed to seem real to an audience objects have depth and a certain 3D relm to themselves it. this level may take a while to understand but its all worth it when you find it.
