While drawing some art yesterday it hit me... Sometimes it's hard to draw art, maybe you get discouraged or hit a snag in the road where you can't go any further....or maybe you just don't like how your arts is coming along.

So then I thought, why not make a topic about this promoting artists who might have a tough time with their work to speak their peace, maybe get a bit of help or a push in the proper direction they want, so here it is....classy huh? lol.

Anyways here it is, if you have any questions or need help with your art or just a specific aspect, just post and hopefully people will be able to provide suggestions to help you out......I'll keep an eye on this and if it works out good maybe I'll sticky it, anyways adios!
Yes.

well personaly i think that its a good idea, but in the wrong section. I know that most people dont hear to much about my grips within my art. I know that most if not all other "good" art sites have an entier section devoted to artists help as well as tips or tutorials.

maybe if this where an entier forum inside the artists section it would work very well.

i had a few other thoughts on this that where the cons of it but i furgot them at the moment.

You don't think we could cover this in one big topic? lol....I dunno, for the time being I think it being a topic itself would be good, maybe if it got a good following we could ask for a mini section, but I think it's good where it's at....now for the sake of getting some help into here lol....might as well start it off with the naughty bits...

Anyone know how to draw a vagina properly? I'm not too good at them, I need some damn tips! lol.

Sorry if it seems to be entering the "erotic" stages of art discussion already, but heck....I need some help, I've seen many examples but I can't seem to draw one I can enjoy.....it's for the sake of the board! lol.
well, I personally have a hard time with different positions.... not THAT way...

well, an example would be is I have a hard time arranging the legs right during a forward view. kinda like kyubimon when facing at you and you can see the rest of its body and tails. I always mess up the back legs and it drives me crazy!
Yeah, thats a problem I have myself....one of the things I usually aim to do is position the back legs like almost exactly like the front ones, but on the outside a bit more.....might work for ya, who knows...

but yeah, the frontal view pics have always been a bitch to me, espically if I want to make someone on one knee, like action poses, allways a pain in the butt....maybe Ryoku could lend some of his excellent advice ;) lol.
I can say i've had problems aranging characters. most of my problem was I wasnt thinking of them as 3D objects. esentaly they are. mosre or less you need to have a plain of view for the character and understand how it will sit from other angles, this way you can see things sticking out under or behind the front plane you see. some times its hard to arange a position as well and its more or less the same problem.

Ryoku
Thinking of them as 3d objects eh? hmmm, could work lol...
the key to art is all rendering, you are rendering a cahracter or scene with a pencil and trying to make it look real threw the variouse styles you use. What ever method you use has its fullest potential. eventualy you'll start to understand things about the world and arange it into the stlye in your own way. such as in all styles where the caracter is suposed to seem real to an audience objects have depth and a certain 3D relm to themselves it. this level may take a while to understand but its all worth it when you find it.

Ryoku
Dude, you put stance and form prespective into better words then my art teacher did, and I had her for quite a few months lol.
