What are your favorite Mature animated movies/anime/series?
When I mean mature, I mean like PG-13 and above. Movies like Heavy Metal or Bebe's Kids. Animes like Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, and Akira. Series like Futurama, South Park, and Spawn.

I found this at Animated News.com. They kind made him look anime-ish, don't ya think? (and now the Man in the yellow hat looks like Dave from Alvin and the Chipmunks)

Yes folks, after 21 years (11 of which were spent wanking daily) I have at last mastered the art of MASTURBATING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!

Some of you may remeber me mentioning that I've never stroked myself in the classic "Clean and jerk" method virtually everyone else follows.
Instead I've always just humped things. Mostly pillows. Even before I knew what "masturbation" by definition was.
And once I did find out how most folks go about it, I tried it a few times and couldn't quite get a handle on it.

Well, last night after bearing witness to some good-looking lesbians making out in the metro station, I was about to sit myself down for my old school cushion-rape, when I thought to myself
"Y'know, the fact that it looks like you have foreskin despite having been circumsized is probably natures way of telling you you should lay off the more violent orgasm-acheiving methods."

So, I layed back and gave the traditional method a shot. And hey, it wasn't easy...I do 25-35 pushups every morning and I still exhuasted my arm three times over 25 minutes before I finally figured out just the right way to do it. But this time, I didn't give up and
"BAM! BOOYA! IN YO FACE, MOTHERFUCKA!! WHO'S YO DADD...huh? Oh, sorry Jer, I'll keep it down......booya.

So, I have at long last caught up with the rest of you guys. You have no idea how fucking proud I am right now.

Now...congratulate me.

No, this is not a topic about Spider-Man. (I'll be seeing that on Friday)

I am very interested in knowing what person(s) people today would consider to be their hero, (i.e. the one person you idolize, revere and respect above all others), and why.

So, c'mon, let's hear yours. Historical or contemporary, just not ficticious if at all possible.

Now, for me, that would be Bill Watterson, the cartoonist who brought us a decade of "Clavin and Hobbes". I choose him because:

1- I feel an affinity to him since I aim to be a professional comic strip cartoonist as well.

2- He happened to be really, really, REALLY good at it. He could appeal to kids and adults easily. Had that certain Je-ne-Sais-Quoi, a certain magic, a certain charm on all levels.

3- Integrity: He never allowed any cheap merchandising to be made of his characters, despite huge pressure from his syndicate and the fact that it could have made him filthy rich, he prided himself on being the only person who ever touched the production of his strip.

4- Took a huge risk in breaking from the formatted Sunday Strip format alloted to most cartoonsts so he could have more artistic freedom. Paved the way for other cartoonists who now do this as well.

5- Chose to quit while he was ahead. His anthologies still sell well at bookstores.

...but on the other hand, he could at times come off as a pompus ass. That much I don't admire, but his pros vastly outweigh his cons.

Digimon RPG I'm planning to work on.
Posted by: Angeteen - 06-30-2004, 12:55 AM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (36)

Hey, I've got some good news for some of the writers/artists/members of the site. I'm planning to work on a RPG, but the thing is, I want it to be based on what you people want. In other words, you will be controlling the events of what's going to happen in the game...kind of.

What I mean by that is that I need a plot, any kind of plot, that can be used in an interative way. If any of you who are writers have a particular story you would like to submit, I'll read it and see if it can be used.

Also, I need some of the artists to allow me to use some of their artwork. I figured that, once the plot is decided on, a couple of pics corresponding to what's going on would be nice. I can't offer much in return though, other than to have your name mentioned in the credits.

So...is anyone game? If anyone has a good, steady, plotline, and some pics that they won't mind me using, I'd be glad to start work on the game.

So...first thing first...the story. What's the set-up? What are the couples that are involved? Are there any love triangles (examples: "Sora, Matt, and Mimi" or "Kari, Tai, and Gatomon")?

Let me know.

  A Loss For Bush

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5316401/

In a major blow to the Bush administration, the Supreme Court has declared that the detainees at Guantanamo have the right to challenge their imprisonment. This comes as a sharp blow for the Bush Administration, which has claimed that allowing the detainees access to lawyers "posed a threat to the president's power to wage war as he sees fit." Oh really? How awful!

On the downside, however, the detainees at Abu Ghraib cannot be granted the same rights because they are being held outside the SC's jurisdiction. But we're getting there.

I swear, for the past 2 weeks every time I open this board up, the same 5 threads are sitting on the top. It's not like no one is using the board, because these threads are constantly being updated with new posts. It's just that no one is starting new threads. C'mon people!
