if you had the choice of having a home any where in the world where would you put it.

heh if only it were so simple i got a few, start off with a summer home in japan cuz i always thought it would be cool and where better to get fresh sushi ^_^, one in ireland - got family there and ive always wanted to go, next stop would definately italy damn good food and other unspoken reasons... anyway moving on to mullens west vergina - visted a relitave up there and people actually thought on the same wave length as me (0.2) and the place is honest to god awe inspiring and quite frankly if i had the choice of being in az or wv id have been there bout 4 years back and i know of a few ppl i'd take with me if they'd put up with the road trip.

but enough of me hows about yous guys/girls :)

Slogans and preshow sponsors for Dragon Ball.
Posted by: Princess Norika - 01-02-2005, 02:37 AM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (21)

(Inspired by Futurama, humour)

Ads before the opener:

1. "Dragon Ball Is Brought To You By Capsule Corp. (a pic of episode one style Bulma happily throws a couple of dynocaps appears) The Future Is Capsular!" (shown before 1st episode of Dragon Ball)
2. "Dragon Ball Is Brought To You By NO MORE NOSEBLEEDS! More Girls For You, Less Tissues Up Your Snoz" (Episode Three)

More ads soon.

Slogans as the Dragon Ball logo appears at the start of episodes (US version):

1. In Colour (Pilot)
2. When You See Bulma, Drink! (2nd episode)
3. Presented In After Image Vision [where drunk] (Goku vs. Jackie Chun episodes)
4. Piggy Piggy Piggy! (Yamcha, The Desert Bandit)
5. From The Company That Gave You Kiddy Grade & Fruits Basket (start of Tournament Saga)
6. Controlling You Through Launch's Gun Pointed At Your Melon Since 1987!
7. Down With Dubya!!! Vote Launch 2004! (Look Out For Launch)

PS. Like it?
PPS. BTW, would you like Launch better if she was a martial arts rap star? I think Launch could make a great hip-hop gal and Tien can use the turntables and EFX. (BTW, I'd like to see Launch breakdance.)

  Best and Worst of 2004
Posted by: Gnostic Metatron Prime - 01-01-2005, 05:36 AM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (18)

Tradition demands that every year, just before the new year begins, we bestow superlatives upon everything. So let's get to it. I'll start:

- Phrase that you never want to hear again: "I'd like to thank the entire population of New Zealand..." Enough with the Kiwis already!

- Celebrity you never want to see again: Anna Nicole Smith. Her drunken appearence at the AMAs was just plain embarassing, and just goes to show that you can take the fat out of the whore, but you can't take the whore out of the... erm... whore.

- Most egregious investigative journalism: "Murder in Laramie" by 20/20. Elizabeth Vargas tries to prove that Matthew Shepard's murder was not a hate crime by interviewing the two killers, but that's not the worst part. No, the worst part was that one of the killers was hoping that the interviews would help him get a retrial. For shame.

- Best villain in a cartoon: Slade, from "Teen Titans". He kicked the Titans' collective ass, brainwashed Terra, and gave Robin a bad case of temporary insanity. Awesome!

Things you might wanna see on Dragon Ball.
Posted by: Princess Norika - 01-01-2005, 03:16 AM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (10)

Here's some stuff.

1. Celebrity World Martial Arts Tournament.

In this charity event, 200 contestants featuring DB fighters and sports and acting celebrities compete for 10 million zenny to donate to their favorite charity!

PS. What matchups you wanna see? Be creative.

2. A woman's only Tenkaichi Budokai. (At least Ranfan can redeem herself there!)

3. (During the Tien Shinhan saga) Ranfan makes friends with Launch and Bulma. Still, she wishes she can get even with Nam though. Anyway, she'll be cheering for Goku and his friends just the same. Besides, she's fun to have around. Because of the detail that the 22nd Budokai's quarterfinals features several fighters trained by both Roshi and Master Shen, and the bad blood between these two, she's gonna need all the fun, and friendship she can get. And maybe she'll learn some cool stuff from this, if she wants to give it another try in the 23rd Budokai.

4. A deleted scene where Nam's mother shows up at the hospital. She also swears vengeance against Tien.

5. Another deleted scene: Blonde Launch nearly gets banned for life from all Budokais when she threatens to blow the food vendor's head off with a RPG launcher. Bulma drags her off, puts Launch on her knee and spanks her backside (beep) hard. She apologizes for her actions, Launch says,

"Bulma, what am I supposed to do? What did I do to deserve this curse of mine?" (she cries)

Unbeknown to Launch and Bulma, Launch's lesbian older sister, Dinner and a female who is a younger version of Fortuneteller Baba with longer pink hair and has Ranfan's sex appeal, mixed in with Baba's wise clairvoyance fell sorry for Launch too.

Dinner: (sad) Did she rob another bank again? (angry) I'm sick of paying for Launch's problems. (note, that Dinner looks like Blonde Launch) Is there no cure?
"Young Baba": Don't say that and don't diss your sister. In the meantime, we'd better go see the tournament. Besides, we may find a cure for her curse.

(Note: Young Baba is a working name for a new DB character, and Dinner is Launch's lesbienne older sister. Oh and Launch and Dinner were orphaned. Long story.)

I've been locked in heart-shaped coffins for too many weeks
Posted by: Wisemon - 12-30-2004, 04:08 PM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (1)

The Nirvana boxed set, "With The Lights Out", is fucking awesome. The topic title is from a demo version of "Heart-Shaped Box" (with different lyrics), among the many alternate demos, acoustic versions, live performances, radio performances, and other cool shit on here. Among the highlights are solo acoustic performances of "About A Girl" (with completely different lyrics), "Lithium", "Polly", "You Know You're Right", and Kurt's last known recording, "Do Re Mi" (with Courtney Love in the background at the end). You also get a DVD, and the B-sides, including demos of "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Aneurysm", "Dive", and the radio hit, "Sappy (Verse Chorus Verse)". Even the cover is really cool. I highly recommend this. Its only problem is that some of the tracks were recorded with some minor skips.

  Reversed dialogue #1
Posted by: Princess Norika - 12-30-2004, 02:06 AM - Forum: General Chat - Replies (8)

Hey, anyone ever tried playing the dialogue backwards from the US dub of Dragonball? You might wanna play the US theme song backwards too.

Let's hear what Goku, his friends and their enemies are really saying when you play their dialogue backwards! (!)

I just got a Dell and I went into Media Player to Rip my CDs and it won't display Media Information, not even when I ask it to add the information from the internet. But the information comes up fine in MusicMatch. Anyone know how to fix this problem??
