Hey guys, does any of you have a perpecstive on what are you going to do this year?

As for me:

-I'll try to go out more, more in the night!
-I'm going to put more attention to my dog, Timy.
-I'm only going to write when I don't have anything better to do outside...
-I'm going to focus more on school, almost finished with 3 subjects down...
And I'd have to repeat the same grade...

That's my concerns to do this year, hope to hear from you!

A huge heatwave is coming. We usually have heatwaves during January that last from a week to 15 or more days. I have to walk several blocks to the cybercafe, so I won't do it during such days. I said I would tell if I leave the forum, so I'll see ya when I'll be in my way back from the fire.

I'll be the first one writing on this frontier, like I was the first one writing seriously on the other Frontier. The following is a letter that I emailed to the head of the mechanical engineering department this morning. I guess it's not exactly fiction, but it's still entertaining.

Hey I'm probably really going far about this but...
Why can almost anyone have an avatar of 90x102 pixels and 7.12 KB, and I'm trying to put a dragon face I made about 42x50 pixels and 1.32 KB and the web tells me I can't?
The minimum requirements say that I can put ONE avatar of less than 80x80 pixels and less than 6 KB...
I'm sorry but that isn't fair....

I have no idea why, but occasionally I'll try to get to my Yahoo email address and the password won't work. I'll try every password in my memory, but none will work. For this I shall blame Yahoo, and furthermore go make myself a GMail account this time, since I need a separate email address to handle fanfic/DaD/DHZ stuff.

This means anyone who sent me something in the last 2 months, resend it unless you know I read it!

2005 is just about done, so, since I bought a lot of major commercial rock albums that came out this year (and even more independent albums that came out in other years), I thought I'd give my final reviews of 2005's major rock albums.


I would say that the best new album to come out this year was Disturbed's "Ten Thousand Fists," their best album yet. Standout tracks include: "Ten Thousand Fists," "Deify," "I'm Alive," and "Pain Redefined."

A close second would be Foo Fighters' "In Your Honor," which came out on my birthday. I say it's second only because of the annoying write protection thing, which makes playing the tracks slower, and adds shit to the CD's I've burned. Fortunately, the singles don't have this problem. Standout tracks include: "Best of You," "DOA," "End Over End," "Friend of a Friend," and "No Way Back." Also, "World (Demo)" on the "Resolve" single is a really cool song.

Audioslave's "Out of Exile" was somewhat disappointing at first, but it's grown on me. The band really does sound like more of a band, even if they don't rock quite as much. Standout tracks include: "Your Time Has Come," "Drown Yourself Away," and "Man or Animal." They look and sound really cool on the "Live in Cuba" DVD.

The Offspring put out their "Greatest Hits" this year. I got the DualDisc version with the acoustic performance of "Dirty Magic." The Offspring rule.

Bush also put out a greatest hits that includes their Woodstock '99 set. I don't like Gavin Rossdale all that much, but they had one hell of a guitar player (Nigel Pulsford).


Now for this year's major disappointments:

Korn's "See You On The Other Side" has one of the best album covers I've ever seen, but the contents just aren't all there. I don't mind that this sounds polished, and I don't mind all of the NIN type synth stuff, but this is missing the Korn anger that I used to know and love. There are a lot of poppy songs about fucking for the sake of fucking, the bag pipes come in at bad times, and what Amazon reviewers say is the best song, "Seen It All," isn't that good.

Some of you may remember me, some may not. I am an old, old OLD user here back from a LONG time ago. I visited the message board for old times sake and noticed my name in a few places so I wanted to let my old friends know that I am well.

Sorry for just "disappearing" but too many things started moving in my life and I no longer have time for this place. I've spent the last 15 months in intensive job training and now finally have a full time job career. I work graveyard and spend most of my day sleeping so I don't have much free time. But at long last my life is going in the right direction.

Just so it's official, I'm moving on but before I bow out I'd like to say adieu to you all. I have a lot of fond memories of this place as a member and as one of the senior administrators of old.. Ah the RPGs of old. Especially Red Rover's. Good times.

I'm only here on vacation for the holidays so I doubt we will meet again anytime soon if at all.

So if this is it I just want to say thanks guys, its been real.

I cut the tip of my thumb off at work today. My thumb slipped down into the blade while I was sliding the base of it. The thing was on of course because I was cutting onions. Slipped the skin from the top of my fingernail right clean across my thumb. That was this morning...I'm still bleeding lol. Not much I can do about it though but apply pressure and wait...
