Dude. It's a fucking phishing scam.
If I were you, I would not enter not one fucking character or letter.

Delete it. Microsoft, or any company really, will never ask for your personal details via email. Delete it, block the sender if at all possible, and warn other people.

Just ignore it. If you have an account already and it does get banned, then just make another and inform your friends of your new account.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Plus, does Microsoft really make those spelling errors (horrors), worldwide? I don't think so.

Oh well, at least I now know I'll just ignore it and people here'll know it's a fake.

I've seen a Microsoft sending, that isn't one. That was clearly written by some plebeian wannabe looking to phish.

Either someone will get fired for that, or they aren't from Microsoft to begin with.

Eh, I prefer the ones involving Nigerian princes. They're such hilarious liars. :P

But yeah, never give out your password. Anyone asking for it is generally trying to scam you.

I should mention that if you are logged in, it is not possible for their database not to have your password. IMPOSSIBLE.
