I'll tell the truth! I like them ALL! But if I have to agree with someone is with Shadow quite some posts back, I wanna choose as my fave: Digimon/Human, it's something that I sure liked, wheeeee.

I agree with you Gunter, there is a really big lack of Pata fans around here, the little guy was the first digimon in die on 01 when he digivolved to Angemon and defeated Devimon. True he reborn but still he had to sacrifice himself to protect his friends and the digiworld, but still and all the little guy doesn't gets the credit he deserves :(
What can I say, I'm agreeing here- because Patamon indeed had important roles in 01, come on people- you have to admit Devimon was pwning 6 champions and only 1 kicked his butt afterwards, same with Piedmon later on the story; you know, Piedmon beat up the crap out of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon and MagnaAngemon sealed him and his army of Vilemon inside the Gate of destiny.
And I'm doing stories with Patamon in them, but just because I like PataGato, I'm a Rena/Gato fan, but I have some room here for Pata Pata :D

about 02 first off blame Gennai for make them sacrifice their crests to the barrier losing the ultimate form and second blame Ken for the control spears making them unable to digivolve to champion for a good time.
But still in 02 Patamon as Angemon gave BlackWarGreymon a ride for his money, and as MagnaAngemon he almost sent him to the Gate of Destiny if BlackWarGreymon wouldn't have destroyed the destiny stone. :P

Then they do the world tour thing and it takes him AND Metalgreymon to destroy those mamemon. Their power was really whacked in that season.

True, another good example is that control spear Okuwamon, Angemon did nothing to him with his hand of fate attack when in 01 with one hand of fate he deleted a Phantomon who was ultimate level and also he put Myotismon on his knees in pain.
if you ask me Toei screwed the power levels a lot in 02 just as excuse to bring the dna evolution :roll:

Are you kidding? Terriermon has some of the best evolutions of any Digimon! A green bunny in jeans with a bandoleer, Gargomon rules! Rapidmon is okay. MegaGargomon is awesome. His missiles smile when he fires them, and his Mega Barrage shows all kinds of cool secret firing compartments. A working MegaGargomon action figure (with everything firing) would be so cool.

But the Okuwamon wasn't a real digimon, whereas Phantomon and Myotismon where. That might have some effect on attribute weaknesses. But yeah they did screw around with strength way too much, one second he's Pwning a mega the next he's getting his butt handed to him by an ultimate.

yeah, that's why I liked 01 a lot more, at least the power levels there were better handled :roll:

Yeah, but Magnaangemon was only shown twice, in the fight with piedmon and then with apocalymon. Which was annoying, why make this super strong character only to have him appear in the last two, or three, episodes?

Good point, the other ultimates even Angewomon appeared more times, MagnaAngemon in 01 was like their winning card for the critic situations
