Do you hate your current job?
um...thanks wisemon...My intent to go to college was to get a music degree but when I was yelled at by one of the conductors that heads the program, that dream got quashed so now I have to minor in it.......

I am not a pothead...and I have a portfolio going on and getting more things to add to it.....

Buisness is buisness and plus I need to get mine off the floor (whenver I can make a 3d floor plan) but otherwise I am a college student for now and Ghost Op I have tried already got to a third interview and I got rejected.....I would be happy with a job that pays me over 28$ an hour but that fell though....

As of college I fought financial aid for a year and a half to get my money even though my parents make 0 and I dont work.....Now they are trying to screw me again... I am running out of options...

The people I've met with art degrees just live at home and smoke pot.

Business majors are most likely to get jobs out of college, but everybody resents them.
True.

For business, there's no soul in it though, it's just argue with person A over object X, reach agreement 1, then go back and bring object Y into play, start process over again now including your new vendor person B.

well i'd give you a place to work at, but it would kind of be difficult to give it to you because you live way the heck on the other side of the U.S. so i guess that doesn't help...(considering that i have no company,or bussiness for the next 10-15 years)

well i give you my good wishes for a new job, and good luck in collage.

well being a freshman is difficult no matter where your at, even when you begin/working at a new bussiness. i would know, i went through hell as a freshman last year in highschool. now that is over and two years later and still in hell but going up to a bigger hell in two years.

but for now i have to worry about the state test retake.

Well, I just got off from work about an hour ago and it turns out that instead of working seven ten hour days, Middleton will try and get away with five ten hour days, though my boss is still considering making us work on Saturday.

I also got some bad news from a coworker. He keeps asking me if I like working for Middleton and I keep saying that it's only temporary. Well, today he said that some of the other guys I work with are saying that if I don't "get some fire in my belly", I might be looking for another job. My trainer seems to appreciate my help and he says that he is trying to get me permanently hired to commerical, but I'm still a little worried. And frankly, I don't recall doing the job with enthusiasm being a requirement of my employment. I do my damn job to the best of my abilities and that's all I can offer. If they want me to grin and talk about how much I love Middleton, than someone needs to knock them off their high horse.

Ahhhh...but what more to say? That is messed up, your ability and your enthusiasm is completely different and if they ever asked you if you cared you should tell them all about if they ever remember a job they took just because it was a job, period. I dont like that your own people said that to you and I deem it a bit unfair but thats my opinion..Good luck in whatever you do....

I've been thinking and now I'm considering quitting my job and starting to go to college. Most of the guys I work with have been there for a good while and they say it's not something I want to get into. Also, when I told them I'm trying to build up some money, they said I need to get back in school. Plus, school will probably be more appealing since I'll be with people my own age and most of them will probably be in my position (wondering where to go in life).

I'm gonna run it by my parents first because I'm not sure if we can afford it yet, even though I know I'll be able to get grants and loans.

What do you guys think is best? I mean, I'm making good money on this job, but I'm not really getting any kind of feeling of purpose out of it. Going to college would mean giving up 360 bucks a week (I seriously doubt I could balance school and work) but could help me land an even better job.

I say you should definitly go to school. Because once you finish, you'll probably be able to find a better, more enjoyable job.
