Yeah, time can definetely be a bastard sometimes (i'll try and stop myself from ranting ). I don't know if it's the exact same situation, but i did what Zepher said to an old friend about three years ago, and it worked really well. but now he's gone a little downhill, and our friendship will never come back. so in the end it depends what you want more i guess: a secondhand friendship or one less "disturbance" around you to worry about.
