Vermilion was whistling cheerfully to himself, hands behind his head as he walked towards Shadow's aura- which was still miles away.
Vermilion skid several feet the opposite direction, having blocked just in time. "Blue!"
"You may have Ky's powers- and Cronos's and mine together- But believe me... I can take you on!" Blue lunged again from what seemed like every direction.
Every slash connected- but-
Vermilion luaghed, and cross-slashed outwards with his arms- sending Blue skidding a meter back. "You can't kill something that's already dead!!" he yelled. "Macabre Dance!!" Vermilion yelled- Orgonic blades sprouted from his palms and elbows- then he lunged towards Blue- slashing rapidly.
"Macabre Rave!!" Blue did a similar- yet faster and more powerful move, countering every slash Vermilion did- and landing five extra slashes.
Vermilion was thrown backwards. "Plagiarism!? How could you Plgiarize me so fast!?" he yelled in surprise. "I would've- URGH!" he yelled as Blue drove his hand into Vermilion's chest. "Blue..."
[FLASHBACK]
"Teal!!" little Blue yelled in despair as he watched his sister charge at the monster called Vegarel.
"Blue- I'll protect you even if it means I have to die-" Teal yelled as she slashed at Vegarel- who blocked it with one hand.
"But Teal- why!?" Blue cried- and Vegarel impaled her through the belly.
"Urgh-" Teal spat some blood out. "Be...cause- you're my l-little- bro- th-ther... and I- I - I love you..." Teal said- her final breath leaving her.
[FLASH!]
"STAY BEHIND ME- BLUE!!" Cobalt yelled, unsheathing his Katanas and Kodaichi- he held the long one on his right hand- the regular one on his left- and put the kodachi in his mouth- Three Katanas. This gave him the nickname- Cobalt the Trinity Slasher.
"But Big Brother-" Cobalt whimpered- trying to pull his brother back, only to get shoved further behind.
"Oh, isn't that sweet- brotherly LOVE...." Vegarel sneered, Organic Blades coming out of her hands and elbows.
Cobalt readied his blades.
"Macabre Frenzy!" Vegarel shouted out as she spun towards him- slashing rapidly.
Cobalt easily countered and parried every slash- but- "Ah-" Cobalt grunted- Vegarel had impaled him through the chest with her hand.
"I always- wanted- wanted to say- I'm sorry- Blue..." He said- and died at the same moment.
"COBALT!!!!" Blue cried-
"Blue-Boy- hehehe..." Vegarel grined, shaking the blood away from her hand, and licking it seductively. She left, and his parents appeared- fighting Shadow.
[END FLASH BACK]
"Vermin- hehehe..." Blue snickered, he shook the blood away from his paw, and licked it.
"hehe- I know that one- nice..." Vermilion snickered and smirked at Blue.
"I owe you pain. Lots and lots of pain. But I have more things to do." Blue said, and walked away.
"Ho- Hold it right there Blue-Boy!" Vermilion grunted. "I'm g-onna die anyway- so tell me your secret- how'd you beat me? Ho- How'd you get so strong?" He grunted, still smirking.
Blue stopped. "If you've been training for fifteen years in pain, anger and torment- you tend to do stuff right. GO- TO- HELL." Blue continued walking.
"Heh-.... figures. SPOIL- Sport-" Vermilion snickered- then died. He faded away into ashes-
Blue smiled as he walked away. A singled teardrop rolled down his cheek.
