"Rudders?" Shadow asked curiously.

[Lukos]

"Yes--a very powerful otter and, for some unknown reason, Zeke's friend, though he's much older."

[Gunter VanCrimson]

"I see..." Shadow nodded. "He reminds me of someone I know..." Shadow said, thinking about Blue.

"Okay... I accept your offer. Thank you for joining our cause... the others are currently in deep training-" Shadow said, then he was suddenly between Zeke's parents- he was holding them back-

Where Shadow was a split second ago- was a figure kneeling on one knee- the ground where he stood on was cracked and Smoking-

Shadow barred his teeth- for once- he looked intimidated.

The figure straightened up.. it was Zeke- The Legendary Guardian of the Ethereal Plane and the Underworld- The main partner of Cerberus and Cerberea.

The other Zeke stays in the same position. Zeke's parents notice that both Zekes are in the same position--just for different reasons. They look slightly intimidated as well, especially because of the effect the new Zeke had on Shadow.

"HOLD IT!" Ky jumps right in front of Cronos, looking him straight in the eyes.

"Cronos... after I heard what you did, I never wanted to speak to you again--something I probably couldn't do anyway. But I need to know something. Just what did you expect to accomplish by joining the dark side?"

"tell me, Wolfbane, can you see? do you know what happend to me the last half an hour?" i streached a little. "if not, than spar with me."

i dropped to my knees. a single tear wet the ground.

"and i don't blame you. i truly expected you to kill me on the spot. the reason; so i can learn. i am painfully unaware of what i can do. if there is one thing i'm truly terrified of, its not knowing myself."

more of my tears wet the ground. as much as i wanted to hold those tears in, i couldn't. for the second time in my life i wanted a shoulder to cry on.

"and do you truly beleve that there is good and evil? there is only conflicting ideals. because any action, no matter how helpful or harmful, harms and heals. there is no escaping it. there is no perfect in this world, or any other world. today, in five minuets, i will be 1000 years old. but that does not bring me any closer to death?"

i took out a knife and stabbed myself in the heart. it hurt, but it healed even as i withdrew the knife. i threw it into a tree with a 'thud'

"no. i can't die the normal way. more than likely, i'll have to live beyond your lifespan. i'll see you die, then i'll have to start my life anew. like the last ten times. its painful to know that you have to forget the people you used to know and move on."
