A Hero's Duty: A Zero and Maero Production
"Impressive," Savior replied. "I have a sensor in my belt telling me when she will wake up. Until then, shall we beginning to see what we can do for you?" he asked, and if she agreed, the two would leave for his supercomputer, where he would begin doing research on Vampires, much like how he researched Demon Flower's past.

"Fine, if you insist." She said with a sigh. She then followed him to his computer, which revealed something startling. Already three major battles had happened in the city while Savior wasnt looking. All of them had been responded to by super heroes, and all of them had last. The villain was unconfirmed, as were the status of the heroes, who had seemingly disappeared.

As for research on vampires, the computer revealed very little. It was like a magical disease, but there was very little known about it, and even less on the curse aspect of it all. It appeared that a dominant vampire could control several thrall vampires, which could make Demon Seer a vampire...though she had been seen out in daylight before, and had not seemed like a vampire.

Savior's eyes widened and he tried to calm himself down. "...I will need to go and investigate this," he said. He looked at Shad'ja though and added, "...Can I trust you here, by yourself?" He was speaking more to himself than her, and unless she could argue with him in a logical sense, he would bring her back to her cell to rest, asking her if she would need anything before he left.

"Can you trust me?" She asked, almost as though she could not believe he was asking the question. "Um, yes?" She said in an unsure voice. What kind of hero asked a prisoner that? First chance she got she would escape and find a place to watch the sunrise, far far away from the city.

Savior simply placed her into her a cell and hoped that she would not be too hungry, due to what she would need. He locked her room and went into his secret armory, grabbing a few new gadgets, before leaving his base to investigate these strange hero kidnappings. What is going on? he thought.

As Savior went out to investigate, he would get some new info. Navu and Techna were amongst those missing. The third hero was not yet confirmed, but some eye witnesses say that skull was at the scene of the last attack.

Savior sighed and decided it would be best to hit the local bars, pubs, and hideouts of the scumbags and criminals. He would travel all over the city, interrogating the various centers of the criminal life for information on the lost heroes, Skull and anything else that had to do with these recent development. He didn't care how many fingers he had to break, how many bones he had to brake, or how many crooks he left unconscious behind him.

At the end of the night Savior still new only a little more than what he had started with. This new villain, yet unnamed, was a magic user, but that was about all he could squeeze out of the underworld. Whoever it was was good at covering his or her tracks. But Skull revealed something interesting about this development. Skull herself was the third hero that was kidnapped. She had apparently engaged the villain just outside the mayors house, and put up a hell of a fight. In the end, the villain made off with her, in place of Silvia, who many believed was the original target. No body knew who this new villain was, or what he wanted...but his MO was disturbingly similar to Savior's.

He was following one last lead, a cat he knew who had recently broken out of jail. Kitty had apparently been there for the last conflict, in person, and had seen the villain with her own eyes as she tried to steal some loot from the mayors house. Capturing and interrogating her could help solve this mystery.

When Savior heard about Kitty, part of him was disappointed. The other part of him was just happy to get a witness. He then began to apply the usual tactics, breaking bones until he knew where Kitty was so he could find her and interrogate her, perhaps even find whoever this was' next target.

The disturbing similarity did not go over his head either. He prayed and hoped he and this being were different. He also wondered if this person knew about him and took him as inspiration. Thinking about it like that only made it worse he realized.

Soon Kitty's location was known to him. He found her sleeping in a cleaned out dumpster, contently purring amidst some pillows she had stolen. How to wake her up and deal with her was up to him.
