Solution:
Shadow: *Throws on a pair of glasses* The genetic traits of people in the same family can vary quite wildly, for instance I personally have black hair and dark eyes, my sister who's only a year and a half older than me has blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Plus my IQ is almost 30 points higher than her's or anyone else in my family. The genes of all relatives are inside each of us, which ones become dominant however is basically a crap shot. It never ceases to amaze me how the gene pool can always deal you a wild card.
Circumstance:
Slashmon: Oh great, he's entered intellectual mode.
Shadow: And further more even if both parents share the same traits the odds of the child getting it are only 75 percent based on the genetics from their grandparents and so on.
Slashmon: That's it, I'm getting my mallet.
