A Hero's Duty: A Zero and Maero Production

When Savior saw the effort and difficulty Melody had speaking such simple words, he doubted he could be as heartless as to lie. "Yes. She's here. But she's powerless, chained up, and under my watch. She will not escape. She will pay for what she has done to hundreds of people before she goes to jail to rot."

Melody only looked even more pale and sick with the news and nearly collapsed leaning on the bed for support. She opened her mouth again but after a moment of struggling was unable to speak again and simply stared at Savior with tear filled eye, begging him for something. She looked likes he was going to be ill, and the fear and desperation in her face could not be missed.

Savior saw the poor girl in tears and he did the only thing he could think to help her. He attempted to gently wrap his arms around her, protecting her in his embrace. "Its going to be okay. She won't hurt you ever again. Its going to be okay, Melody. I'm going to protect you."

Melody tensed up as he hugged her, go very rigid and trying to be as small as possible to avoid his embrace, though, of course, that would not work. She only whimpered and trembled, and did not speak again. From what Savior had just seen, did he consider the girl a threat? Or had Dark Spell just tricked him, possibly to be in the room by herself?

When the idea that Dark Spell simply wanted him out of the cell hit him, he pulled back and bid Melody a quick farewell, asking her to sleep. He then ran back to Dark Spell's cell and opened the door, wanting to make sure she had not found someway to escape without his knowing.

Dark Spell was right where he left her, groaning softly as she hung from the wall, her toes twitching a little since she could not reach the ground. "I suppose, since your back so quickly, that she has tricked you hasnt she?" Spell said when she noticed him. "You shouldnt be fooled by her. There is a reason for everything she does. You should have asked Dess more about her before he captured me and went off on his own." She taunted. "Look, how long are you going to keep me here? I have no more powers and my base is destroyed. Take me to jail and I will rot until my death sentience comes up in a few years, probably the electric chair. Isnt that enough punishment? I get to die a painful painful death after years of being trapped and raped by other women. What do you possibly thing you can add on top of that?"

"I don't know, but I'll think of something...something sooner or later," he declared, feeling strange. "How do I know you're not just....try to trick me? Leaving you with no one watching so you can do lord knows what," Savior mumbled, glaring at her. He stood against the wall, feeling strangely tired as Tobias gently eased him to sleep, and took control for a moment. "I think of one thing we can do," he smiled, licking his lips at the sight of the lovely lady.

"I have no powers. You can believe me, or not, it doesnt change that fact." Spell said with a sigh. "You personally allowed my power to escape. And so I am no more than a normal woman now. Unless a normal woman can break these chains, then you have nothing to fear from me." She then looked at him as he began to look tired and then suddenly changed. "You are a weird one...Whats wrong?
