You're wrong. As far as I know Cody wasn't put as female in the Spain dub. I heard enough masculine words directed to him. They respected enough the original version.
I've heard it's the European Portuguese version that somehow made that mistake. There are some clips on youtube, but my speakers are currently broken, so I can't confirm.

I was talking precisely of the european portuguese version indeed Circeus, also here is another thing to comfirm that Patamon of TK is male, it was how he and Agumon reacted when they saw Catherine's Floramon, you have to admit the way both reacted was more maleish than femaleish (as in lesbian)
So yep that settles the issue about Patamon's gender :P
