In my opinion, which is worth next-to nothing, I think fursuits are just a little creepy...I'd rather dish out the cash AFTER having hard core proof that there was little to no danger for me. I mean, having a functioning tail, or even a tail at all would make my day...as long as it was long.

I'm probably going to get a lot of shit for this, but ANYONE who would dish out ANY amount of money to genetically alter themselves so they can be an anthromorph, or whatever you would call it, is a FREAK. You are a HUMAN, -NOT- an animal.

Roleplaying is fine. Dressing up like animals may be weird to some people, but it's harmless. Mutating yourself to become some sort of animal-human hybrid? That's crossing the line between sanity and bat-shit bonkers.

Hm, maybe I should clear something up. I just want to have a tail or something, or ears, I'd never act like an animal, and would resume my life as normal. I'd just wear a hat all the time. Being a person is lame, but having an extra luxury, like using a tail to drink a cup(just that lazy). Yeah, there are some odd people out there that wanna be covered and fur and stuff, that's them, I wanna be lazy, maybe having better hearing, or better eyesight.

I hardly believe wanting to be a little less common, and wanting to improve my senses is a thing some freak would do.

I concur, this may be fake but man it would be great to have some scales/skin that doesn't break apart. Also, i might adjust my breathing rate too so i can take in enough oxygen slowly and not need to pant as much, that way i won't be out of breath as much and inflating stuff by mouth should be easy.

Think of the fursuit like a warm shagpile carpet crossbred with a heated seat. Warm, fuzzy and it can have a nice conversation with you. Also, it doesn't just have to be a monkey tail, i imagine a reptilian tail would come in useful too for example a snake's body or a lizard's tail.
I can see how it's creepy, but really i've learned that everything in life is weird, as are you and i, so now i just flow with it; if i like it, i like it; if i don't, forget about it.
