Bah, I always end up making my backgrounds a simple gradient... gray or something like that. heh
Back to the pic... who drew the original? Seeing distention it seems like something digimonsh would do.. heh. For the coloring, I see a big improvement from your last work. What do you use to color? Everyone does it differently... Also, you kinda have to define a light source for the pic... if 1 thing casts a shadow in 4 directions, you have a problem.
It 'll make it look a bit odd. Great other than that.
