Eeeep! Nervous.. enough.. to ... crap pants....
#3
Well first and foremost....

I know the feeling of being nervous for a lot of things from drill teams in high school to break dance to comedy shows and open mikes and sports games to concerts..... You deserve the job......

Ways to impress at a buisness or any interview....

1) A portfolio resume because maybe you haven't had a job yet but list qualities that are important to a buisness, like clensliness, approach, people skills, the ability to coherentl communicate, a team player, never tardy, and etc.... Include grade in school a GPA and the definition of it (if its worth seeing....Don't forget to put down your schools....

2) Attire: A golf shirt polo or a pressed light blue collared shirt and a clean tie. Pants wear something like cardoroy pants or khakis pressed and make sure that you wear some shoes not boots and make them shine.

3) The Approach: Probably the most important step. Standing and posture are important key elements and this is what you do.... You probably have to ask one of the other employees there to see the manager....

You could say this, "Good morning/afternoon/evening, My name is (insert name) and I would like to talk to your manager, I have an appointment for (insert time)....
Wait patiently and now use these "Power words"

Maam, and sir will win you the job.....

don't stutter and keep your answers to the point.

4)Money maker: Show off your resume.... But only say it once and put it next to the manager and your demeanor keep it positive and be positive, they read it well............

5) Ettiquette: Never sit down first, the first seat is one of authority and experience. .....
Be niice and pronounce things properly and eye contact have no fear.....

6) On the exit: Make sure you stand up at the same time and leave without asking , "How did I do?" but you could thank them for the opportunity and walk away in confidence....

.................

This method has brought me to 5 jobs

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About performing now, you should know you're audience, the age plays a big thing. If there older you read a poem about family but if your crowd is young you read something on empowerment.....YAdadada.....
Don't do that, cliche is not good, if you do something different I guarentee you they want you to come back... You are unique show it.... I know whatever you select I know you'll perform
(I do stand-up but I have done open mike's before....Have fun and let your creative juices flow.....)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good luck and I hope that you do well and if I could help out thats awesome. Break a leg performing and do well with your interview.... Hopefully I helped you out.... Relax and breathe.....Best of wishes....rorancrystalwolf
