Alex would awaken in a soft bed that was not his own in a dark room he did not recognize. He was bandaged up and his body would feel like shit, but he was still breathing. Not far from him, Hunter was suspended in mid air, floating above some crystals, his eyes closed and his body limp. A man was working the crystals beneath him, a man taller than Mike, and there was no sign of the evil man anywhere.
