Hehe, back to seriousness, now.
I got the job at Wal-Mart. Tomorrow at 10 a.m., 1000hours for you military nuts, I will be going in for orientation. Which means, hopefully by next week, I will be your not-so-friendly Wal-Mart late-night dry-groceries stockboy. I'm slated to make 8 bucks an hour, and work full time.
Which means a few things. Some good, some bad.
1) I won't be on as much. I'll either be sleeping, working, or, on those special days, trying to spend my paycheck as fast as possible.
2) somepoint in the next few months, I'll be splurging and getting myself a desktop computer, and a desk to put it on. Feel free to give me suggestions on makes and models.
3) the power is still out, so I can't charge my phone at home. I will be charging it in the van like I have been doing this week. Which means even less time on DaD.
4) Employee benefits. As a full-time employee, I'll be slated for all the goodies they get. Most of all, that delicious employee-discount I've been yearning for.
So, to recap, tomorrow I officially become a part of the evil machine known as Wal-Mart. Every villian has to start somewhere. Centerpoint Energy is still evil, and I won't be a broke wuffy anymore.
Now I'm going to bed, before I get tempted to waste more of my phone's battery life.
