My mom and I used ta butt heads all the time. Yea, I was still under 18 at the time, but still.. had our issues, even after I turned 18 she would still restrict me.. or try to at least..
Now that I'm not living with her, we don't fight anymore, and things have gotten a hell of a lot easier. I still work with her (or at least I will once I go back to work) but she is not my boss, so there won't be a control issue there either.
I know it don't help ya much with what is goin on, but you can change it around if you work for it. Sometimes you gotta shock em to show em you're not the little boy/girl you used ta be.
