The simple fact is that art on the internet is very hard to copyright. There have been stories about artists who created work for one site for no money, and then saw their works turn up on the paysites. The artist Karabiner is a good example of this. His Digimon work got stolen, and it got so bad that he finally quit.
No, that's the unofficial stance among the weiners.
You got people like Sirkowski who put their art up for free, but then people pick it off and take it to pay sites.
Ditto has happened for God of Chaos.
Ditto will happen to any artist.
The fact is the internet is virtually impossible to control, so trying to is a waste of time.
