I don't know how things work in Argentina, but around here we have things called freedom of opinnion and expression of it. If someone would tell me how to be romantic and how my way of loving someone wouldn't reach their standards for whatever the hell reason, I'd probably punch their teeth in just out of principle alone. Every single person has right to have their own defination for romantic, even if you don't agree with their view. It's their business, their lives, and if you have problem with that, speak that up with your boyfriend. To generalize the entire current race of men based on your standards and how they're not met to please you, is not only offensive but also immoral and wrong.

Since you didn't get what I mean, I'll explain. In Grandia, Feena is an intrepid adventurer, the best adventurer in her continent, and also the most popular girl in town, not only because of her great looks, but also because she's humble and helps people in need. Sherry is a vain rich girl that lives in a mansion in the same city as her, and envies all she does. She lets her hair grows like hers, she buys the same weapons she did, and even hired people to gather members for a fan club of her. As you can see, all she does is staying at her mansion and envying Feena. What I mean is that girl these days are more like Feena, do more things, and don't think they're lovely and people will love them just by being frail and act cute.

I thought we were talking about evil world destroying kidnappings. If we're talking about real ones, then yeah you're right. I wouldn't go and risk the person's life by going and trying to capture a person capable of killing and torturing both me and my love to death for absolute no reason, especially since I don't have neither the equipement, the skills, nor the mental preparatiojn to deal with the situation. Life's not like rpg, a daring rescuer wouldn't save the day, he'd most likely just sink them both into deeper shit.

So did my grandparents. But for every fairy tale meeting there's also regular meeting. Old women I've talked and been with have talked to me how their man had drugged them, tied to bed and forcefully aborted their child. Things have always sucked, they do suck, and they always will suck. It's just up to us to see that things aren't a magical puffy cloud castle fortress and to realize that after each love story endings there's been two divorces.
