I had to take a C++ course for my major, and it was my first and only programming course. I don't know if the other languages are as bad, but C++ is a pain in the ass. I could never get my programs to work, nor could I figure out what the debugger was trying to tell me. Good luck with that shit. With your experience, you'll probably get the hang of it. That seemed to be what separated those who got it from those who didn't. Welcome to the board. Note the "Rants" section. Programming frustration may drive you to post there.
