Okay, time for me to chip in my $0.02
Now, I have a friend of an arabic/indian background. None of us, even Daniel (that's his name) is sure exactly what his genetic and cultural background is.
Regardless
He has what could be called a normal Arabic complexion; y'know, that really bronzey-olive color? Well this is kind of the source of our little story.
me an' him were talkin' about something, (I don't remember what it was exactly) but another 'gentleman' (I use the term very, very loosely) walked by, and I guess when he thought he was out of earshot he uttered these words, which, to my dismay, will be forever tattooed in my memory:
"Mother F--kin' Cameljockies"
I didn't say anything, but in my mind I was thinking: "Just who the fuck do you think you are!?"
Daniel was a little more... expressive. He stood up slowly; very calmly and purposefully. I thought he was going to simply bitch him out. Instead, Daniel waited until the 'gentleman' turned around, and bloodied his nose.
It was very strange. The whole incident seemed so calm and rational when I think about it. Daniel was suspended for 2 days for fighting, but our 'friend' got a week and a write-up in his permanent record for 'racial discrimination'. Once in a while, the high school system actually delivers justice. :P
So a note to those who think this shit is funny: Don't. You never know who will turn on you for it.
