You need to be more extreme with your highlights and shadows, the parts that should have light and dark look bland and plain. A sharp highlight on the Guitar would work since those usually have a polished shiny surface. You also need to figure out what your gonna do with the coat and hat. Is that cloth? Leather? and shade it or make it the right color. It looks ugly right now as is. For leather you could leave most of it the same for shadows but then put really white-ish highlights where the source of light is. If its cloth then use some noise to give it some texture. The background is a nice touch tho.
