(A Silver and Zero production) Plaything
The Master saw the green light and told the other guard to awaken another Orc as he went to investigate it. If this proved to be nothing, he would be ready to sleep. He quickly grabbed his sword and walked through the bushes, following the strange light and movement.

The light never disappeared but also never got closer as it led the orc around the forest and farther and farther away. Finally the Master caught up to it, only ti find a strange sight. The light was that of a young boy and girl, both looking to be in their teens. They both were naked and both had pointed ears, but they were not elves, for their skin was green and blue, and glowed dimly. It was them that they were chasing, forest nymphs. They hid behind a tree, peaking over to stare at the orc, eyes full of caution but curiosity as well.

The Master saw the curious little creatures and gave a smile, trying to act friendly. "Hello there. Do you speak English?" he asked. If they did not respond, he tried a different method. He sat down and placed his sword on the ground to the right of him and patted the dirt in front of him, motioning for the forest nymphs to come and sit with him. Perhaps they would know something about the elves in this forest.

The nymphs did not answer, and slowly came out when he sat down and patted the ground. The male nymph imitated him, sitting down like he did, while the girl stayed standing, looking curiously at the orc.

The Master looked at the two, trying to figure out some way to communicate to them. He eventually picked up a stick and began to draw things into the ground, starting off with a happy face, then a badly drawn picture of him and the two nymphs holding hands.

The Nymphs both looked at the drawing, and smiled and began to trance things into the dirt as well. But their drawings did not have people or actual pictures if things. Instead they made elaborate swirls in the dirt, art like arches, and beautiful patterns. It was pretty clear that their thinking and thoughts were on another level, a level that could hardly be touched. Nymphs were said to be forest spirits and tree reincarnations. How does one communicate with a being that is so radically different?

The Master saw the strange drawings and tried to make sense of them, failing though. He remember how Nymphs were said to be forest spirits, and tried a different tactic. First, he drew the two Nymphs, then a large tree. He then drew himself and a large tree. He then made arrows pointing from the two drawings to a single drawing, which was of him and Nymphs. He hoped to show he was a friend to the trees like them, and thus were their friends, though he wasn't sure if it would work.

The Nymphs looked at this new drawing and laughed. They drew some more nonsense, and stood up and ran around the tree. As they did they suddenly cried out as a net opened up beneath them and drew them up into a tree. When this happened the wind would shift and the great orc would smell something, trouble, humans to be specific. The slave markets had been spreading rumors that the western kingdom of Dihal had been raiding the north forests for elf and nymph slaves for awhile, but there had been no proof until now.

The Master smiled at the adorable creatures, but suddenly gasped as they were caught by a net. He picked up his sword and would smell the scent of humans. He had to move fast. With amazing skill, he pulled out a smaller knife he had kept on him and use it to cut the rope holding the net. If he made it, the net would fall into his arms and he would cut it open. He then put his sword on his back and took each of the Nymphos' hands in his and gently tugged them, wanting to bring them back to the caravan for protection.

If they refused, he would let them run off or guide him, or stay where they were to fight the human slavers, though he preferred his first plan.

The Master would move fast to try to cut the ropes, but the net itself was a mixture of rope and metal strings and bands, it would take to long to break, and he could smell the humans coming. If he wanted to, he could try to rip the whole thing out of the tree, or just run. From the smell of it there were more then one human, and they were known to take pride in slaying or enslaving orcs.
