Hunter received no answer to his challenge until he heard a frantic scream farther down the tunnel. Hunter looked at Ren, and then around him. "By the gods," he whispered, before giving chase. "Ren! Ren was taken into a what looked like a hollowed out ball like chamber, completely round, and the slime was deep, sinking Hunter to his chest. This was the monster's domain. Luckily, the creature retreated from the light as it had before, leaving Ren pegged to the wall, half conscious and covered in slime.
