Solia sat down next to Faiz under the shade of the giant oak where the Sun's rays couldn't penetrate. By now, it was beginning it's descent. Solia leaned on Faiz, taking comfort in his soft fur. How she wished to become lost in it. She nuzzled his arm affectionately. "So, there are others of your kind?" she asked.

(Castle's Highest Turret)

"Well, Conscendo's got a casino," Ardeal said. "It's not too big and the jackpots aren't either, but I wouldn't mind winning to give some to the Nester House, which is the orphanage where some of my friends were raised at. I'm glad there is another out there who takes pleasure in helping others as much as I do." He smiled. "From the castle, it's right down the left street below." He pointed to a small building with flashing lights down below to the left of the castle.

Faiz gently caressing her long hair and shoulder. "...Since my village completely destroyed...I'm not sure if there's any more of my kind out there...My guardian says Mika and myself is the only survivors..." He said softly. "We even don't have a chance...to see our parents' face..."

(Castle's Highest Turret)

"This time, I will not playing any. I'll help you winning some jackpots." Mika said as carry Adreal on her back and jumped off from the high turret before landed on the ground hard. Then, she place Adreal in sittng position. "I can spot so many dirty tricks done by the players, and I make sure you'll win fair and square."

"That's sad," Solia said. "I don't know how my parents died. Ardeal knows, but he won't tell me. He says it was too gruesome and might traumatize me if I heard. It scared me when he told me that. All I know about my parents is that they cared for me and my brother intensely and they fought for the good of the people." Solia sighed. "So much destruction. For the longest time, I thought that evil queen had somehow killed my parents. She's killed others so why not my parents? She's raided villages with her soldiers..." Solia felt an involuntary tear fall down her cheek. "I'm sorry," she apologized.

(Conscendo: Streets)

"Okay, but I don't think we have to worry about cheaters here in Conscendo," Ardeal commented. "But, it would improve my chances of winning with you on my side." He smiled. "Well, it's off to the Casino!!"

(Conscendo: The Skies)

From in the air, Quarry saw Mika and Ardeal jump off a castle and land safely on the ground. 'Well, that is certainly an interesting date,' he thought.

Skye was in close pursuit of him, tossing her metal ring at him every so often and missing him, his evasive skills too masterful. "Bring him down, Vance!"

Vance stopped running and held up his hand. "Severitas!" he shouted. A dark ball of energy surged above Quarry and pressed down on him hard. Quarry felt very heavy and before he knew it, he was hurtling towards the ground.

Faiz lowered his ears a little bit as heard her sad story. "That's okay, Solia...We just hope our parents...and other villagers rest in peace...and living happily in heaven..." He said while his furry finger wiping her tears away.

(Conscendo: Streets)

"Yeah!" Mika state ds gently grab his palm and walk side by side towards the casino. At the same time, she didn't realize their friend, Quarry is in deep trouble.

(Giant Oak Tree)

"Yeah, I know my parents and everyone else is having a good afterlife right now," Solia said, comforted by Faiz's presence. She looked up at the blue sky. "Ardeal did a fine job as a caretaker anyways," she managed a smile. "I'm sorry about your village," she added. "Were you there when it happened?"

(Conscendo: Casino)

Ardeal and Mika entered the small building that was the casino. There were a few people playing card games, some at the slots, and some playing the roulette wheel. Ardeal rubbed his hands together. "What shall we try our hand at first, my sweet?" he asked Mika.

(Conscendo: Streets)

Quarry soon found himself on the streets of the small town. He didn't have a lot of time to get oriented, for Skye's metal ring was flying at him. With a mighty swing of his giant fan, he sent the weapon flying right back at her where she caught it. "I've got you now, fan man," Skye said maliciously.

"...I'm not sure the exact happen...My guardian says someone in orphan house found me and Mika under the tree not too far from our village..." He paused before continued. "...That time, I'm one and half years old while Mika around 11 months....so of course, we unable to see our parents..."

(Conscendo: Casino)

"Let's see..." Mika look around the casino to find the game with most people play with. "Hmm..how about roulette wheel?" She said. "There's quite a lot of people playing right now."

"That's so sad," Solia said. She licked his furry cheek. "Well, we've got each other now, not to mention our siblings." She smiled. "We'll see our parents again someday, when we're dead, but hopefully, that won't be too soon." She laughed nervously.

(Conscendo: Casino)

Ardeal took Mika's claw and walked over to one of the roulette wheels.

"Lucky number 36!" the roulette runner, wearing a black tuxedo, called out. One man jumped for joy and took a small pouch of coins from the roulette runner. "Now how about another go? You could win even more."

The winning man shook his head and rushed out the door before he could be tempted further. The roulette runner sighed and beckoned for Ardeal and Mika to come over to his wheel. Ardeal and Mika went to that roulette wheel.

"So, lookin' for a good game?" the roulette runner asked in a tempting voice.

Faiz nodded. "...But I want to live to the fullest with my beloved princess...and our siblings..." He give Solia a slight nizzle on her cheek before licking her lips.

(Conscendo: Casino)

"Yup, sure thing!" Mika said without thinking much to make sure the roulette runner fell into her 'psycho' trap. "How about you start first, Adreal? I want to know how this game works." She said while winking to him.

Solia giggled as Faiz licked her lips. She grabbed both sides of his muzzle and kissed him, slipping her inexperienced tongue into his mouth, and rubbing his own tongue with it.

(Conscendo: Casino)

"Excellent!" the runner said. "The game's easy. The wheel's got numbers from 0 to 36. You simply bet on a number. The wheel is spun three times and a ball is dropped on the wheel. If the ball lands on the number you called, you get money. If it lands on something else, you get nothing. You could go home with triple your original bet, or nothing. It's your call. Understand?"

(Conscendo: Streets)

Vance was about to attack Quarry, but Skye held up her hand. "I want to kill this fool myself," she snarled, entering a fighting stance. Quarry met her expectations by readying himself for a one-on-one battle.

Faiz in the meantime blush softly as Solia kissed him. He open his maw a little bit wider and return the kiss passionately while hugging her closer, slipping and swirling his tongue against hers as murring softly.

Mika nodded as the roulette runner explain the steps of the game. "Yup, I understand." She then took out a middle-size coin pouch from her pocket and withdraw a small amount of pure gold coin, and give it to Ardeal. "Kindly put any number you like, Adreal."
