Digimon Savers / Digimon Data Squad

Well, as of now, a handful of us here in DaD's might have got a full glimpse of Savers from 1-48th episodes.

And the prospect of it making likely to the U.S. shores is a possibility under the name Digimon Data Squad. (Correction on title if needed) Despite this, it has been said it's still being offered by Toei to any dubbing group/company in the US that might be interested to make it.

Lately, there has been words on WtW forums, brought by God of Chaos that:

-Mr. Jeff Nimoy will be directing Savers
-Mr. Steve Blum as Falcomon
-Recently, Ms. Colleen O'Shaughnessey was stated to pick up the role of Yoshino Fujieda

Though it's still not official, but it was stated that the sources came from two individuals who were once heavily tied with the past Digimon dubbing.

Well alright, We now have two voices. And I'm sure if it's as good as the other movies then it should be done very well.

Question is how much of it will be cut and edited.

I think we already figured that out. Mostly rosemon's sequence (shorten) and miki's burst mode on his zipper. They'll get her a stronger one. (i.e. paint it closed) Mostly cover up any real apparent boobage/bottom parts. I can't think of any violence that would need covering up.

Yup, expect lotsa cuts on Episodes 45 and previous episodes done by the fan service happy team in the dub. We might likely see edited scenes, cuts and perhaps still and non-shaky...Rosemon jugs.

That's what I am afraid of, them overediting. If they do uncut DVDs, I'll buy, actually I'm sure I'd buy cut DVDs...I just wouldn't enjoy them as much.

Oh, true, I'm sure most of the editing will be near the end, but I can't see them editing too much past that... unless they somehow tear the story apart, somehow, to make it more "appealing."
