no i dont have MSN but i do have a hotmail account. is a hotmail account MSN?

A hotmail account isn't really MSN, but having a Hotmail account allows you to USE MSN. All you need is the actual MSN program. MSN uses your Hotmail Account's email address and password (Since MSN is made by the same people as hotmail and runs on the same thing) to talk through to other people :P
