Anyone here ever eat at a Japanese restuarant with a Hibachi grill? It's a treat and I love it. Well, I was going to eat dinner at a Japanese restuarant today, when I find out that they are now a private club (they just got their liquor license) and I have to be twenty-one to go in.
Can't they just make it so you have to be twenty-one to drink? I don't see why they have to close the whole place to anyone under twenty-one! Uhh, I am so pissed now, because the place I was going to eat at is the only good Japanese place in town.

It is a shame that they do that but when you think about it you can't even touch a tray with beer on it until you are 21. I can't even touch the tray its on but I am legally allowed to drink liquor as long as I am with a parent wtf lol.
Oh well things happen. Try looking for another location with a Hibachi Grill. They might be slightly as good as they are.. until you turn 21 anyway
The closest place is in Little Rock, which isn't worth the gas just to go to the Japanese restuaraunt. Besides, my car is goofing up, so my parents don't want me taking any trips out of town in it.
I guess I'll just have to grit my teeth and deal with it.
I dont know how many examples of stupidity of this magnatude I've run into in my relativley short life because I've lost count. If you ask me they are just turning away business from families that usually have more money to spend on their food, if their profits dip enoug they will switch back, and you'll be able to eat again. In the mean time try to find a good Mongolian Barbeque, mmmmmm.

Chinese resturants are just as dumb as Japanese ones. A while ago I went to the China Buffet King in town, they had great food. But the thing that pissed me off is that they change their price per person by the time they are done eating...like lunch time would be 11-2 o'clock or so which is $6.99 After 2 o'clock they price is changed to 8.99 for some fucked up reason. I was fucked over by this once because I arrived there at 1:49 or so...and ended my meal at 2:15...I ended up not having enough money because I only had enough for the 11-2 oclock meal...WTF!!

Hah, we can drink when we're 18. But everyone starts drinking around 15.
Also Disturbed, I don't think that's even allowed. Didn't you call authorities? They had no right to take the extra cash.

You can find supplies in your supermarket for making your own sushi rolls. It's more fun when you do it yourself, it's healthier, and you can eat as much as you want.

i agree. home made kanpayo is delicious! :P
I don't eat shushi at the restuaruant. I eat fried rice and shrimp and chicken smothered in teriyaki and soy sauce (shrimp and chicken my dad and I could probably do, but for some reason we can't find the right rice to make fried rice, which I love). Plus, the show the chef puts on is something else I go to see.
