Just for the people in the RPG's and stuff that I chat with alot. My uncle died yesterday morning so I'm going to wisconsin for his funeral. Joy. I know it sounds cold and heartless to say I don't care but it's because I haven't associated with my Dad's side of the family since he passed away. Hell they didn't write, call or anything when I was stuck in the hospital with cancer. But for some reason we have to go. So I'm getting dragged along and will be gone till about saturday. So 3 days roughly. I'll see you all when I get back.

But you don't have to show it or even go to the funeral.
I havent seen my dad in 10 years. I am certain that I would feel bad that he died even though I don't like him. He's still my dad.
It is nothing to crutial to concern yourself with. Do what you think is right in the matter at hand.
Pay your respects in ways other family members expect or do it in your own unique ways.
Nobody will think any less of you (well... shouldn't. Some families are different)

I think you should still go, just because he didn't care a lot and stuff like that doesn't mean he didn't love ya... you are his nephew after all.

I chose the cookies- but on a side note- it's your choice.
-Unless your family is making you go... er- then- it's NOT your choice. Or maybe it is.

They are family but if family forgets you even exist they are dead to you inside. I mean if they forgot to write or call in like a year thats ok but not 10 years. My condolences to you and your family but I believe its up to you what you decide to do. Take care Shadow..

I really think you should go just to show them you care. Maybe that'll make them feel horrible when they know what they did by not paying you the needed attention. So in that way, you'll be doing a nice attitude to your dead uncle, and you'll also get them to know what's being family for real.
