I know there are a lot of Linkin Park fans on this site, and I was wondering how many of you have heard the new album, "A Thousand Suns." I'm listening to it right now, and it's so odd that I have yet to form an opinion on it. Does anyone else have an opinion?

I like them only because of music. No insulting way. I think I showed my tastes are all around the board. Mostly in one area but still.
*ahem*
I think The Catalyst is good.
I have not heard anything else.

I haven't really liked much Linkin because of the emo themes of their songs, can we expect any joyous tunes in this album?

No, nothing joyous on the album, but it's more political than emo. Half the tracks are filler instrumentals along with famous speeches, including one by Martin Luther King Jr., but the songs that are on the album are pretty good, but very different from anything I've heard from Linkin Park before. Just like with their last album, they seem to have gone out of their way to break the mold.

Well I'd try something like that too if I kept getting pegged as an emo band.
Heh heh.
