"So they must... live with the CyBeasts forever?" Mar said, looking on Shadow, then back on PyroMan.
"I think so," Shadow said, a note of sadness in his voice.

"Maybe someday we'll be able to remove it." Slash said hopefully, "Don't forget the software you use isn't up to the same standards as oh say, the officials or something."

"You're right." Shadow said, relieved by Slash's optimism, "Till then we'll just have to live with it huh?"
Mar scratched his head, "Guess you are right... but it will really cost us to stay out of trouble."

"Not that you mind it."

Mar gave PyroMan a flat stare, then looked on Shadow, "Well, we better go away before anything worse happens today."

OOC: Which reminds me. Are you still planning on being part of the officials Shadow? That'd open a lot more for the plot.
OOC: I thought everyone was. But yeah when it comes up in the story I'll join. By the way, this is the eighth post.

IC:

"Good idea." Shadow yawned widely again, "I don't care what's happening with school, I'm going home to bed."

"Lazy." Slash mumbled.
"Damn it, that was SO close- how could it have missed?" Sir Grave showed some frustration. "Watch your language Young Mr. Shadow."

The PET jolted Sir Grave with electricity yet again. "That's it- magnetic fields are on 24/7!!" The PET growled.
"Mr. Grave, could we leave?" asked Mar, "I think it'd be good to have some... time out, don't you think?"

OOC: Well, I never thought of joining the officials, lol. I was thinking you'd join them without telling my character or anyone's.
"Of Course Young Mr. Martin." Grave agreed.

OOC: Officials?
Mar sighed in relief, "Thanks Mister..." he turned and then followed Shadow out of the pier, still doubting about the CyBeast thing.

OOC:

An official from the Net Police is like a Normal Net Operator, but has some more privileges. Like entering prohibited areas and possesing extended Chip Weaponry and different gadgets.

Well, since you have a Synchro Chip already Gun, you can go ahead and make Sir Grave be a clandestine official or something like that if you prefer, if not, well... it's your choice, lol.

Anyways guys, I bear some important news for this RPG.

Marine has to be absent for some days due to some pressing matters regarding his exams, he'll be back at the end of the week. I already have talked with him, and I'll just keep up from his last post to gather a summary of our actions in the story, so we will be able to keep playing. When he returns, IF he's lost, I'll give him the summary.
For now, go ahead and continue.

Thanks.
"Mar," Shadow said as Mar walked out of the building, Shadow was leaning up against the wall next to the door, proabably waiting for him, "There were four statues right? That means there's still one more of those things out there."

"What are you getting at?" Slash asked, sensing an underlying thought.

"Simple, these guys are after us because of the cybeast, wouldn't it make sense that they'd also be searching for the last one?"

"So you're saying we should find it before they do?" Slash asked, "Then what? Just having one is driving me crazy, don't wanna think about what two would do."

"Doubt you could even handle a second, that one alone filled up almost all of your memory banks." Shadow shook his head, "But I'm thinking, if we can find that last one we can take the fight to them when they show up."

Slash sighed, "This sounds like a job for the officials, not some random kids."

"Oh come on. You know we're better than any official." Shadow gave hijm a thumb's up, "What do you think Mar? We can get in from my computer and see if we can't find anything."
"I don't know..." Mar said, lowering his face, "What if something happens and we are surrounded by lots of the Net Mafia Navis while surfing and,"

"Oh come on!" the PET beeped with PyroMan's voice, "Don't be such a wimp! We can take 'em! Slash and I make a great team!"

Mar frowned, but he couldn't say the opposite, so he just sighed and raised a little smile, then nodded to Shadow seriously, "You are right. We should be able to do something."
