I might just have to take that light sabre away from you Wise!
Also, you might just want to not say anything at all to your boss. You said it yourself, he signs the checks. He wont take anything you say to heart, he will just get pissed, and then will get rid of ya. I would suggest that you just deal with him, and when the time comes, leave for a better job, and then tell 'em off.

And do keep us posted LG.
I will thanks renamon....=D
I am now officially on probation. If I make any mistakes in the next two months, I'm gone.
Really? What'd you do? Did you make a superior look like an idiot?
I would like to know as well. It has to be some problem with your boss, I'm pretty sure it couldn't be your work.
Wow, and I thought no job is bad....>> It really is, I need to get capital soon

As for you Wisemon, if you made him look like an ass, more power to you. I pompous asshole like that should be put into his place. He should remember how it was when he was in a lower position. Please inform us on the status of the situation...
Oh, yay! I can post here now!

As for a small summary, I have up and downs regarding my job-

The attention of everyone there is great; we get feed restaurant food, which we can repeat or change if we don't like it. Anything personel consume costs fifty percent cheaper. I got the best supervisor I could ever get since we are both as fast with the PCs.
I made friends with just everyone, everyone knew me perfectly two days after my first day of work! The pay is great, too: To accord for a well rounded pay at the end of January, my boss decided to pay me the five days of December I had worked, I got 240 Pesos :P
And I've got an estimation of 1400 Pesos at the end of this month if everything goes good.

As for the downs, well:

- Got to wake up at 7, get a quick shower and get to the bus station at 7:20 minimum to get a seat on the bus.

- Got to walk half a kilometer after leaving bus to get to the Rest-bar.

- Upon getting there, I got to help with the heavy work (hence my huge body in the pic I posted) that includes carrying tables, umbrellas, 60 kilos heavy containers for the umbrellas (don't know the word for this).

- Additioning and being a clerk in the morning sucks, I got to stay sitting down till commands come for me to add.

- Busy period (13PM aprox. till 16-17PM aprox.) isn't funny either, commands are easily lost and people often complain.

- Heat many times is unbearable.

- Cold days aren't good either, there's very few people, so it acts like working in the morning for me.

- The bus is unpredictable and I lose lots of time when coming back.

- Rainy days suck massively. Carilo hasn't got asphalt, it's all sand. If it's raining, neither the in and out buses come, and we got to wait till someone gets us home.

- I must consume two cups of coffee per day to work correctly. I only consume one per day IF I do. I'm not fond of caffeine too much. It's good to keep you awake, but later you only get cranky and pissy about everything.

Well, more or less my job is very interesting and funny, I don't have problems with it. Though when I get my first pay off, I'll quit; I'm there mainly for experience, so the money's just a plus. And I want Feb for holiday before school, hehe.
DMX, your job sounds pretty cool, a lot like the kinds of jobs I used to work. Now that I'm in the big leagues, and I have to support myself, if I fail here, my whole future could be in trouble.

It's just been a few mistakes here and there. On the whole, I've done most things right, but when you're an engineer, they expect perfection, and they expect you to read all of the government specifications and follow all of the contradictory rules. I'm not in trouble with the president so much as I'm in trouble with the general manager. She didn't like me from the beginning because I listen to rock music and because I have will power, whereas she listens to light rock and she can't stop herself from eating lots of bad food. She's also annoyingly optimistic about shipments when she knows better, and she blames me for things beyond my control. She's two-faced (I've eavesdropped on her phone conversations), and she wears entirely too much makeup. She's like a lump of crap covered in perfume.
Hmm you could work so hard by staying late and coming in on the weekend, so they wouldn't want to fire you. Who knows if you make it look like you are working harder than the manager they might replace you. That happened to my mom, she had a manager she didn't enjoy so she worked her ass off to progress and make sure she wouldn't be fired. Then when the owner/manager sold the business the new owners made her manager and the old manager/owner work under her.

Of course if she is a liar like you say, then the only thing I can suggest is prove her wrong when she is. Maybe tape somethings she says that she might later lie about. Just make sure to only prove her wrong only when in the presense of a superior.
I never put myself to think how engineering works; but I can imagine how it would be if you had to just do it perfectly out of your clients expectations- I've done quite some mistakes already, but even though minor, and even though everyone said I didn't screw anything up in fact, I hate making mistakes.
