Steam World (A Crimson & Tigerlily RP)

[Crimson Fox]

"Colored motion pictures? My, your world must be full of marvels." Jedrek felted a little embarrassed, knowing that he lived in a world that was only starting to develop black and white movies, and they were silent films to boot. "So what's this game about then?"

[tigerlily]

Livian felt a little uneasy, no wonder they been staring at her confusingly, this is like from the 1600 or the 1800 in this world. She's more into the future than he is. It'll take alot explaining of how her world works. Absent mindly she fidgeted her fingers on her portable device. "Well you create a character: The choices of each race are Clavats(a little small human-like creatures), Selkies(Human-like too but wilder), Yukes(Armor-head bird-like creatures), and Lilities(very small plant people) and you have a coming-of-age ceremony. But the little girl had a crystal illness, and you go to the outside world doing missions for the old man."

"Ah, it's like an adventure tale...but it's interactive as well." Jedrek wagged his tail, excited about the incredible machine Livian was showing him. "Could you play a little of this game? I'd love to see more."

Her thoughts were indeed accurate. The world Livian had stumbled upon was an older world with the birth of factories and steam power. As their train chugged along the worn rails, a small, bustling city could be seen on the horizon, Shibuya.

The windragon leaned close to him showing the little female Clavat with brown dark short hair. She had the small figure moved around solving puzzles and swining a sword/axe around monsters. There were tough bosses she has to defeat. Like a one eye ball creature with wings occasionally killed her character with powerful and annoying zap magic. Of course when defeated she goes back to the dungeon and finish it off.

There were certain levels during the game. Like levelling your char and weapon/armor/accessories/headgear. There were also elements to collect to raise your character's resistance or ups the power of that with magic.

"My, it looks so fascinating. I'll have to buy myself a copy whenever we find a way to your world." Jedrek wagged his tail gently, enjoying watching Livian handle the futuristic technology.

Suddenly, a loud train whistle rang out, while the train slowly pulled into the Shibuya station.

Hyouzen awoke in a groggy haze as he uttered, "Huh...wha? Are we there?" The water dragon yawned and turned over to Jedrek and Livian. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Mr. Fancy Pants over there. I'd better make sure he doesn't try anything funny with Livian in the city.

"Yes, it seems we've arrived." Jedrek smiled towards the furry dragoness and gently held her hand, while suggesting warmly, "So Miss Vandale, shall we explore the city? I'm sure we can find at least one magician if we search hard enough."

The young windragon blushed silently as the dark shadow dragon held her hand gently. Livian put her handheld game away getting up from her seat.

She felt a familiar tremor that she almost recognise, though there was a stronger force that she felted strange. It's not harming her in any way, but it felt a bit strong that it may alert the person abit.

She is safe with two dragons let alone they dislike each other. In any circumstances Livian is safe in their hands if anything goes wrong.

As they left the train, Jedrek tightly held her hand, not wishing for her to get lost in the new city. "Okay, I believe we should check out the city square first. That should be a prime place to find information."

"Who elected you leader, huh?" Hyouzen groaned, still not liking the fact they were traveling around with a thief.

"Hmmm, who said I was leader, m'boy? I'm just trying to help Miss Vandale." Jedrek chuckled lightly, amused by the anger the bounty hunter displayed. "I just figured there would be a fair amount of people to ask. A magic caster should be well known to them or in the least they can point us to the nearest newspaper office."

As they walked down the cobblestone streets of the small city, the sounds of a joyous band could be heard in the distance. Perhaps there was a parade happening somewhere else in town.

Livian felt something amiss, she sensed there is a eerie justification that happened during some event. As soon as the King of Bandit flicked his ear he made a huge nasty grin. Grabbing hold on Foria's wrist they dashed, knocking off people and things while they go.

Soljowl smiled as he looked eye-to-eye on Livian. He chuckled at his companion. "See told you I found her, Foria."

The african wild canine veered in closely to Livian circling around her. And then sighed in defeat, "Okay looks like you can do it afterall." Foria rolled her eyes at him handing him a handful of gold shed skin of a dragon.

The other canine waved his hand dismissively. "Nah, keep it I already got the loots from the dead geezer's place."

"The...legendnary King of Bandits Soljowl? And Foria? What are you doing here?" Livian's mouth gaped at seeing the infamous bandit. But she's abit shocked to find his brother's wife sister wondering and traveling with him. They must've been looking for her! It is sad to find a stranger dead amongst the parade. She hoped they're not the magicians they aren't specific about.

Soljowl bowed halfway at Livian, he isn't fancy like the Jedrek, his clothing is more casual with some ripped and tearing in some places. He also wore even funkier glasses. "Well, it isn't the princess of Gastonah? It's an honor to meet you and your princely brother."

"Brother?" Jedrek chuckled lightly and told the scrappy looking thief, "Heheh, well I appreciate the compliment but I'm afraid I'm just her escort. Based on her reaction, it seems you three know each other. Have you come to take her home?" The shadow dragon remained calm, even though Livian declared Soljowl the King of Bandits. His claws tightly held the dragoness' claws as he prepared for any sneaky moves from Soljowl.

"Great, more thieves." Hyouzen gritted his fangs, feeling anxious about the sudden meeting. Since Soljowl was from another world, he didn't know about any bounties that might have been on him, but he remained ready for any problems. He then turned to Foria and smiled, noticing that based on her appearance that she probably wasn't a thief like Soljowl. "So...Foria, who are you? Are you part of Livian's family and here to bring her home?"

"Oh no!" The hyena laughed mischievously. "I don't mean you stranger, her brothers never dress like you. Plus they have bird like wings, not very reptilian-like." Soljowl explained.

The young windragon's identity has revealed. Though they didn't treated her different from being a different status. It is a possibly good a thing. "My brother always admired your crazy adventures." Livian added.

"Yes...I gained quite a few fans over the years, so I made a book about myself; I didn't reveal any secrets on how I managed to get them." He chuckled.

Foria had a look of annoyance from hanging too much around the weird hyena bragging. As suddenly the blue dragon asked her a question, her eyes laided out to his large white ovals, and playfully grinned, admiring the muscular physique he has. "Yea, I'm afraid so. Her brother is married to my older sister."
