Magus, do Ctrl + F and type in "Blades", the Blades list is sorted in ascending order, meaning the first one is the weakest weapon, and the last is the strongest.

Do Ctrl + F again and type in "Light Armor" for your character's armor, the order they are listed in the same as with the weapons.

Altima, do Ctrl + F and type in "Broad", the list is sorted in ascending order as well.

Do Ctrl + F again and search for "Heavy Armor" to the same effect.

For Accessories, do "Ctrl + F", the list is sorted in ascending order, so you should pick one of the first types.

Please, and I reitarate it: Follow the same standards we're all doing.

Edit: About Arts, they are like combo-branches, deathblows if you will, which cost SP and can be used to dish out a lot of damage. You can start with one and learn more as your Job/Weapon level goes up. I'd like for everyone to use the game's Arts, but that'd be a hassle and hardly anything enjoyable, so if people feel like it they can fabricate their own Arts.
